Behind the Scenes of my shoot for Galway Now magazine

Some days ago I showed you the fashion editorial I styled for the Galway Now Irish magazine =) and now I wanted to show you the behind the scenes pictures, which I really like as you can see more details. Theme was, as you can see, soft colours. The Philip Treacy gold clutch was amazing, and so were the pink and blue booties from M&S. We had a great time taking the pics; thanks to all the team!!

Hace unos días os enseñaba las fotos del editorial de moda en el que fui estilista para la revista irlandesa Galway Now :) y ahora os quería mostrar imágenes del backstage, que a mí personalmente me encantan ya que en ellas podéis ver todo con más detalle. La temática era, como podéis intuir, los colores pastel. El clutch dorado de Philip Treacy era espectaculer, al igual que los botines de M&S en azul y rosa. Nos lo pasamos muy bien haciendo las fotos; desde aquí gracias a todo el equipo!!

Mint green coat and checked top

On Sunday we went by bike to a beautiful park near our house (the Bushy park in Dublin). I wore my mint green coat -I do love coats in pastel colours!-, my metallic brogues and a gorgeous checked top with split back.

El domingo fuimos en bici a un parque muy bonito que hay al lado de nuestra casa (el Bushy Park, en Dublín). Llevé mi abrigo color verde menta -me encantan los abrigos en tonos pastel!-, mis mocasines metalizados y un top de cuadros con la espalda abierta.

Pastel fashion editorial styled by me

This month of April I´ve got my sencond cover as fashion stylist :) This time, in an Irish gorgeous magazine called Galway Now. I´m so so excited!! Both the cover and the editorial look lovely, featuring one of the key trends for this Spring/Summer: pastel colors. You can get it at Easons in Ireland or at Apple iStand worldwide. I used brands such as Primark, Coast, Parfois, Marks&Spencer and Oasis among others (thak you all!). Hope you like the outfits I chose! Don´t forget to tell me which is your favourite one.

Este mes de Abril he conseguido mi segunda portada como estilista de moda =) Esta vez, en una revista irlandesa llamada Galway Now, estoy emocionadísima!! Tanto la portada como el editorial quedaron preciosos, inspirados por una de las tendencias de esta Primavera/Verano: los colores pastel. Podéis comprarla en Easons si estáis en Irlanda o en todo el mundo a través de Apple iStand. Utilicé prendas de Primark, Coast, Parfois, Marks&Spencer y Oasis entre otras (gracias a todas ellas!). ¡Espero que os gusten los looks que elegí! No olvidéis decirme qué outfit os gusta más.

Sky blue pants and white bag

Some days ago I posted an outfit with a pair of pants in a soft colour, and here you have another one. Blue is my favourite colour and this pants have the most lovely blue hue I've ever seen =) Sky blue is a key trend for this season, and we can already were it with neutral colours. I match them with blue nails, a black sweater with blue flowers in the peter pan collar, my new white bag and black stiletto shoes. In summer, they will be lovely with grey, white and nude colours, won't it?

Si en el anterior post os mostraba un look con pantalones color pastel, hoy os enseño otro. El azul es mi color favorito y estos pantalones tienen el tono de azul más bonito que jamás haya visto :) El azul cielo es tendencia esta temporada, y podemos lucirlo ya si lo combinamos con colores neutros. Yo los llevé el otro día con uñas azul clarito, un jersey negro con flores azules en el cuello bebé, mi nuevo bolso blanco y zapatos negros de salón. En verano, quedarán preciosos con gris, blanco o nude, verdad?

Baby pink pants and floral top

Candy colours and floral prints are two of the trends for this Spring/Summer. I've been looking for a pair of pink trousers for a long time,'cause I wanted a pretty hue but not too much -you know what I mean! This are from the mid-season sale in Bershka, a bargain. I wore them last Sunday for a family lunch with my oversize top from Oasis, one of my fav stores in Dublin. 

Los colores pastel y los estampados de flores son dos de las tendencias para esta primavera/verano. Llevaba mucho tiempo buscando unos pantalones rosas con una tonalidad que fuese bonita pero no demasiado ñoña jeje, y por fin los encontré! Son de las rebajas de media temporada de Bershka, toda una ganga. Los llevé este domingo para una comida familiar con mi top oversize de Oasis, una de mis tiendas favoritas de Dublín.

New In

New items have entered my wardrobe this week -and I do love them!: a limited edition orange crop top, a clutch bag with a tropical print that I found in this vintage store in Dublin, two pairs of candy coloured pants, a necklace with the Paris "skyline", an electric blue dress and a few more. Esta semana han llegado varias cosas nuevas a mi armario -y me tienen enamorada jeje!: un crop top naranja de edición limitada, un clutch bag con estampado tropical que encontré en esta tienda vintage de Dublín, dos pantalones en colores pastel, un collar con el "skyline" de París, un vestido azul eléctrico y alguna cosita más. Mint green blouse and floral pants

Pastel colours and flowers are two of the key trends for Spring/Summer 2014, and nothing better and sweeter than wearing both together in the same outfit :) I found these gorgeous floral pants at the sale in Zara, and I got the mint green blouse at Warehouse after using it for a shoot that will be published in Galway Now magazine in a few days -I'll show you all the pics as always! The earrings are from Oasap and the ring, Avenio's. What do you think about the mix?

Los colores pastel y las flores son dos de las tendencias clave para esta primavera/verano de 2014, y nada mejor y más dulce que lucirlas en un mismo look =) Encontré estos pantalones de estampado floral en las rebajas de Zara, y me compré la blusa color menta en Warehouse tras usarla en un shooting que saldrá publicado en unos días en la revista Galway Now (os enseñaré todas las fotos, como siempre!).  Los pendientes son de Oasap y el anillo, de Avenio. ¿Qué os parece la combinación?

Flowers and soft pink

On Sunday I went to have a coffe -a Starbucks one :) with a friend in Dublin and this is the outfit I wore, with my new floral shirt thanks to Oasap, the handmade wood glasses my boyfriend gave me for Christmas, a bargain heels from Penneys (just 4€, can you believe that?!) and watch and ring thanks to Born Pretty Store.

El doming fui con una amiga a tomar un café a Starbucks y este es el look que llevé, con mi nueva camisa de estampado floral gracias a Oasap, las gafas de madera hechas a mano que me regaló mi chico por Navidad, unos zapatos de Penneys que fueron toda una ganga (4€, os lo podéis creer?! jaja) y reloj y anillo gracias a Born Pretty Store.

Bubblegum pink and fringe bag

As seen in Vogue, two of the trends for Spring/Summer 2014 are the pastel colours (with the pale pink as the key one) and bags with fringes. We can already wear both trends in our Winter outfits as I do, for example with black pants and a statement necklace. Candy colours will invade all the stores... so let's get ready! I do love them for nailpolish :) Do you prefer pale tones or strong ones?

Tal y como afirma Vogue, dos de las tendencias para la temporada primavera/verano de 2014 son los colores pastel (con el rosa palo como protagonista) y los bolsos con flecos. Podemos llevar ya ambas tendencias en nuestros looks de invierno como hago yo, en mi caso con pantalones negros y collar XXL. Vamos a tener una invasión de colores muy candy... así que yo ya me voy preparando!! Me encanta como quedan en las uñas :) ¿Vosotras sois fan de los colores dulces o preferís las tonalidades más intensas?

Clerys Vip Evening

Two days ago I attend an exciting event at Clerys Dublin: its re-opening launch evening with a gorgeous fashion show. The shop was seriously damaged due to a storm on the night of July 24 last, but now it looks completely stunning -congrats to all the team! Hace un par de días asistí a un evento muy emocionante en Dublín: la reapertura de los almacenes Clerys, con desfile de moda incluido. La tienda fue seriamente dañada tras una tormenta que tuvo lugar el pasado 24 de julio, pero ahora la han dejado espectacular -enhorabuena a todo el equipo! Sweet peplum dress

El peplum es una de las tendencias para mujer de este otoño/invierno 2012-2013. Ya lo fue para primavera/verano, y yo ya lo intuía desde julio de 2011. Empecé a hablar por aquel tiempo de ello en twitter como tendencia futura... pero (casi) nadie sabía aún lo que era un peplum. ¡Y ahora todo el mundo habla de él!

Peplum is such a big trend for Fall/Winter 2012-2013..!! It also did for Spring/Summer, and I guessed it since July 2011. I started talking then about the future peplum trend at Twitter.. and (almost) nobody knew what I was talking about. And now everybody talks about it!

El peplum es un corte que me encanta, me parece super fenemino y favorecedor. Este vestido fue amor a primera vista =) Ya diseñé una blusa con peplum en crepè nude y negro para mi desfile de noviembre de 2011. Si a alguna os interesa... mail! ;)

I find peplum cutabsolutely gorgeous, so feminine and cute! This dress was love at first sight :) Indeed, I designed myself a peplum top in nude&black for my runway on November 2011. If anyone is interested in it.. email me! =)

Total look in soft colours

Desde que trabajo en Réplica Comunicación, estoy viviendo en Madrid :) Hoy os voy a mostrar mi rincón preferido del parque de El Retiro: un precioso Palacio de Cristal en cuyo interior hay además exposiciones de arte. Os dejo unas imágenes del palacio y las esculturas expuestas para que no os lo perdáis cuando vengáis a Madrid. ¡Es espectacular!

Since I'm working at Replica, I live in Madrid. Today I show you my favourite place at Madrid's Retiro Park: a breath-taking Crystal Palace in which you can see art exhibitions. Here you have some pics of the palace and the sculptures inside; don't miss it out if you visit Madrid! It's amazing!

Everything goes blue

Hoy os traigo un outfit-post en el que el azul es sin duda el protagonista. Destacan los accesorios: un bolso color azul cielo de She Inside preciooso (ya lo habréis visto por mi twitter los que me sigáis) y un espectacular collar de Avenio con abalorios de cristal facetado.

 

Today I show you an outfit-post in which blue colour is definitely the protagonist. Take a look at the accesories: a lovely sky blue bag from She Inside (you have already seen it on my Twitter if you follow me) and an amazing necklace by Avenio with glass beads.
