Behind the Scenes of my shoot for Galway Now magazine

Some days ago I showed you the fashion editorial I styled for the Galway Now Irish magazine =) and now I wanted to show you the behind the scenes pictures, which I really like as you can see more details. Theme was, as you can see, soft colours. The Philip Treacy gold clutch was amazing, and so were the pink and blue booties from M&S. We had a great time taking the pics; thanks to all the team!!

Hace unos días os enseñaba las fotos del editorial de moda en el que fui estilista para la revista irlandesa Galway Now :) y ahora os quería mostrar imágenes del backstage, que a mí personalmente me encantan ya que en ellas podéis ver todo con más detalle. La temática era, como podéis intuir, los colores pastel. El clutch dorado de Philip Treacy era espectaculer, al igual que los botines de M&S en azul y rosa. Nos lo pasamos muy bien haciendo las fotos; desde aquí gracias a todo el equipo!!

As you may know, I am a freelance fashion stylist here in Dublin (apart from sales assistant). Tabitha Magazine has published other of my fashion shoots: the one I styled with the amazing photographer Peter Evers and a gorgeous model from Morgan The Agency, Jenny Dre. The MUA and the hair stylist were fab too!! The three outfits above are my favourite ones, specially the first one with skirt and sweater from Marks&Spencer and the second one with a Diva dress at Pamela Scott. Como probablemente sabréis, soy estilista de moda freelance aquí en Dublín (además de sales assistant). La revista Tabitha ha publicado de nuevo uno de mis shootings de moda: el que hice con el increíble fotógrafo Peter Evers y una modelo espectacular de la agencia Morgan, Jenny Dre. La maquilladora y la peluquera también lo hicieron genial! Los tres looks que veis arriba son mis favoritos, especialmente el primero con falda y jersey de Marks&Spencer y el segundo con el vestido de Diva en Pamela Scott. Kate Moss accesories collection for Carphone Warehouse

Yesterday morning I went to a wonderful press breakfast where I could see the new accesories collection designed by Kate Moss for Carphone Warehouse. The smartphone and tablet cases have amazing designs inspired by the style icon's own wardrobe. The cute anchor emblem is taken from a tattoo on her wrist, whereas the cocodrile look-a-like leather case (my favourite one) with gold embellishment is inspired by a vintage lighter that Kate loves.

Ayer por la mañana asistí a un desayuno de prensa increíble donde pude ver la nueva colección de accesorios diseñada por Kate Moss para Carphone Warehouse.  Las fundas que ha diseñado para móviles y tablets están inspiradas en detalles del propio armario de Kate. Por ejemplo, el logo del ancla (precioso, por cierto) es como el que ella tiene tatuado en su muñeca, mientras que la funda de piel con imitación a cocodrilo (mi preferida) con detalle dorado en el lateral está basada en uno de sus mecheros vintage favoritos.

MET GALA 2013 -Curiosities

 

Yesterday evening, I saw the complete MET Gala. Yes, until the 2 a.m. GTM. One hour before, I predicted the Chanel SS 2013 Couture dress that Diane Kruger would probably wear (I saw it and thought: this dress is made for her!). AND I WAS RIGHT! :) Continue reading to see the best looks and make up, plus the ridiculous phrases that some celebrities said (I think any of them knew about punk, neither Anna Wintour...). BTW, Cara Delevigne was amazing.

Ayer me quedé viendo la Gala del MET. Sí, entera, hasta las dos de la madrugada. Una hora antes, vaticiné el vestido de Chanel SS 2013 Couture que probablemente llevaría Diane Kruger (lo vi y pensé: está hecho para ella!). Y HE ACERTADO! :D Continuad leyendo para ver los mejores looks y maquillajes, y las ridículas frases que dijeron algunas famosas (creo que nadie sabían qué es el punk, ni siquiera Anna Wintour...).
