María Lafuente FW15 fashion show

Some weeks ago I attended the María Lafuente FW 2015/2016 fashion show, inspired by the karma and the eternal cycle of destruction and new creation in all cultures throughout history. Her collections always enclose a meaning that goes beyond fashion. The scenery, the music by David Dalmau and the final white gowns with fringes were the best of the show. The cool glasses were made by Nina Quiche. I wore a total white and nude outfit, one of my fav colour combinations of the season.

Hace unas semanas fui al desfile de otoño/invierno 2015-2016 de María Lafuente, inspirado en el karma y en el eterno ciclo de destrucción y nueva creación presente en todas las culturas a lo largo de la historia. Sus colecciones siempre encierran un significado y van más allá de la moda. Lo que más me gustó fue la puesta en escena, la música (a cargo del genial David Dalmau) y los vestidos largos del final en blanco y con flecos. ¡Eran preciosos! Las gafas tan originales eran de Nina Quiche. Llevé un look entero en blanco y nude, una de mis combinaciones favoritas de la temporada.

MBFSHOW Day II: David Christian, Yono Taola, Aureria Gil and Marcos Luengo FW15

I attended four fashion shows during the second day of the MFSHOW. My fav ones where David Christian (the scenery with the leaves and the head pieces were amazing) and Yono Taola (futuristic and geometric). I wore my new high waisted palazzo pants (so trendy this season) and high heels -continue reading to see my outfit! :)

El segundo día de la MFSHOW fui a cuatro desfiles. Mis preferidos fueron los de David Christian (la pasarela con las hojas y los tocados eran espectaculares) y Yono Taola (en clave futurista y geométrica). Mi look estaba protagonizado por mis nuevos pantalones palazzo de talle alto, gran tendencia esta temporada -continuad leyendo para ver el outfit!

MFSHOW Day I: Poe & Jorge Acuña FW15

February is the month of fashion shows. In Spain, we first had the MFSHOW and then, the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid. I attented a few shows in each one. First day at the MFSHOW we saw the FW2015 collections by Poe and Jorge Acuña, for a different kind of woman: a relaxed, comfy and effortless-chic style in Poe, whereas Acuña's designs are made for the sophisticated and glamurous woman. Febrero es el mes de los desfiles de moda. En España, hemos tenido la MFSHOW primero y la Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid después. Yo asistí a varios desfiles en cada una de ellas. Mi primer día en la MFSHOW fue para ver las colecciones de Otoño 2015 de Poe y Jorge Acuña, para dos estilos de mujer totalmente diferentes: relajado, cómodo y chic "no pretendido" en la mujer de Poe, mientras que la de Acuña es sofisticada y elegante. ¿Con qué estilo os identificáis más vosotras? MBFW Madrid SS2015

Last Saturday and Monday I attended the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid where I went to some runway shows and a masterclass by my fav gin: G' Vine. I was accompanied by the make up artist Francesca Moreno, with who I usually work in Amazon BuyVip =) I felt in love with some Teresa Helbig dresses and lots of the designs made by the young designers at the EGO showroom.  El sábado y el lunes estuve por la Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid para ver algunos desfiles y asistir a una masterclass de mi ginebra favorita: G' Vine. A la masterclass fui con la maquilladora Francesca Moreno, con la que trabajo a menudo en Amazon BuyVip :) Me enamoré de varios vestidos de Teresa Helbig y de muchas creaciones de los jóvenes diseñadores del Espacio EGO! Arnotts SS 2014 Lingerie fashion show

On Wednesday I had the opportunity to assist Linda Conway, the stylist for the Arnotts SS 2014 lingerie and swimwear fashion show. Here you have pictures of the backstage, my fav pieces (that yellow Milly tote bag is fab!) and the lovely floral crowns worn by the models.

El miércoles tuve la oportunidad de asistir a Linda Conway, la estilista del desfile de lencería y baño primavera 2014 de Arnotts. Aquí tenéis algunas imágenes del backstage, mis piezas preferidas (especialmente el bolso amarillo de Milly) y unas coronas de flores preciosas que llevaron las modelos.

As you saw in this post, Arnotts hold a press event for their Spring/Summer 2013-2014 collections. Here you have the fashion show, with various trends: total prints, black and white, colour blocks and 50's lady style. Above I am in the front row with the lovely Darryl Gibney (journalist and electric blue fan as I am haha) and, before that pic, a metallic clutch I would love to have!

Como ya os enseñé en este post, Arnotts organizó un evento de prensa para mostrarnos las colecciones de primavera/verano 2013-2014. Aquí tenéis el desfile de moda, dividido en varias tendencias: total prints, blanco y negro, colour blocks y estilo lady 50's. Arriba podéis verme en el front row con Darryl Gibney (periodista y del team azul eléctrico al igual que yo jeje) y, antes de esa imagen, un clutch metalizado que me encantaría tener!

La tienda fue seriamente dañada tras una tormenta que tuvo lugar el pasado 24 de julio, pero ahora la han dejado espectacular -enhorabuena a todo el equipo! After watching (and reading it all) the amazing post on Fashionisima with the 32 collections of Marc Jacobs in Louis Vuitton, I've decided to write a post with my favourite 8 fashion shows and 2 advertisements. I'm pretty sure you haven't seen his 90's shows, and the one in 1999 is really gorgeous =)

Después de ver (y leerme enterito) el completísimo post de Fashionísima con las 32 colecciones de Marc Jacobs en Louis Vuitton, he decidido dedicarle yo también un post, con mis 8 desfiles y 2 campañas publicitarias favoritas. Seguro que los desfiles de los 90 no los habéis visto, y el de 1999 merece mucho la pena :)

Two weeks ago, my boyfriend and I attended a fashion show in a gorgeous location: the Chester Beatty  Library in Dublin Castle. The event was hold by VaVaVoom TV with Aperol Spritz, Make Up Forever and Preen Hair Salon as partners.

Hace dos semanas, mi novio y yo asistimos a un desfile de moda en una localización espectacular: la Chester Beatty Library en el Castillo de Dublín. El evento fue organizado por VaVaVoom TV junto a Aperol Spritz, Make Up Forever y el salón de belleza Preen.

Some days ago, I posted about the showroom held by Arnotts Dublin in their press event to show the Fall/Winter 2013 collections. After the gorgeous welcome breakfast, we sat to enjoy a fashion show in which we could see the three key trends for next season: New Grunge, Femme Fatale and Flirtatious 50's.

Hace poco os enseñaba el showroom del evento de prensa que organizó Arnotts en Dublín para mostrar sus colecciones de otoño/invierno 2012-2013. Después del magnífico desayuno de bienvenida, tomamos asiento para disfrutar de un desfile en el que pudimos ver las tres grandes tendencias para la próxima temporada: el estilo Grunge, el look Femme Fatale y los años 50.

María LaFuente runway show FW 2013-2014

Uno de los desfiles que espero con más emoción cada edición de la Mercedes Fashion Week Madrid es el de María LaFuente. Conozco a esta diseñadora desde que fui con mi escuela de moda a ayudar en uno de sus backstages y sus desfiles siempre son espectaculares (y ella, un encanto).

One of the runway shows I expect the most in every Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid edition is Maria LaFuente's. I met this designer when I helped her in one of the backstages with my fashion school, and her collections are always amazing (an she, really charming).

Tengo tantos posts acumulados que aún no había publicado los dos desfiles a los que acudí en la última edición de la Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid, la de las colecciones de otoño/invierno 2013-2014!

La colección de José Matteos para el otoño/invierno de 2013-2014 se llama Enigma y está inspirada en la dualidad del Ying y el Yang. En ella se combinan la sastrería tradicional con técnicas vanguardistas de patronaje 3D, mezclando texturas como el vinilo técnico y la piel ecológica con la seda y el algodón orgánico. Aquí tenéis el vídeo que hice; a ver que os parece! :)

The collection designed by José Matteos for next Fall/Winter 2013-2014 it's called Enigm and it's inspired by the duality of Ying and Yang. He combines the traditional tailoring with avant-garde 3D pattern techniques, mixing fabrics such as vinyl and ecologic leather with silk and organic cotton.
