Born in Nature fashion editorial

Here you have my last editorial for FSHN magazine, 'Born in Nature', with a gorgeous scenery and an amazing team. I´ve been styling lots of fashion editorials lately and that's why I had no time for posting before -a big pardon! Inspiration was the 70s boho/country trend, starred by a tormented woman who has decided to spend some time in the middle of nowhere (to get the feeling, I told the model that she has just murdered her husband... lol). I hope you like the pics with trendy ideas for your Spring/Summer 2015 outfits.

Aquí tenéis mi último editorial para la revista FSHN, titulado 'Born in Nature', con unas localizaciones increíbles y un gran equipo detrás. He estado haciendo varios editoriales de moda recientemente, y es por ello que no pude actualizar antes el blog (mil perdones!!). La inspiración para este shooting fue la tendencia de los años 70 y el estilo boho/campestre, protagonizado por una mujer atormentada que decide irse a pasar un tiempo en medio de la nada (para captar lo que queríamos, le dije a la modelo que acababa de matar a su marido... jaja). Espero que os guste el resultado y que encontréis ideas para llevar las tendencias de esta primavera/verano.

Happy New Year!

2014 has been a year full of exciting things. In January I was living in Dublin, but in March I moved back to Madrid due to a (temporary, but worth it) job as fashion stylist for Amazon BuyVip. And by the end of the year, I was shooting with a famous Spanish actress (Marta Hazas -you can see it here) and styling the December and January covers for Galway Now Irish magazine. 2015 is promising to be even more exciting, so I cannot wait for it to begin. Enjoy the last day of the year! 

2014 ha estado lleno de cosas emocionantes. En enero estaba viviendo en Dublín, pero en Marzo me estaba mudando de vuelta a Madrid para comenzar un puesto (temporal, pero merecía la pena) como estilista de moda en Amazon Buyvip. Y al final del año, hice una producción con la actriz Marta Hazas (podéis ver todas las fotos aquí) y me han encargado ser estilista en las portadas de Diciembre y Enero de la revista irlandesa Galway Now. 2015 promete ser aún más interesante, así que no puedo más que desear que comience. ¡Que disfrutéis de la última noche del año!

The Lovers editorial for Spend In Magazine

Yes, I know. It has been along time since I posted.. The reason? The one you see in this pictures. Apart from my daily job as stylist for Amazon BuyVip (which means to style about 180 items per day), in my spare time I style editorials for fashion magazines. Anyway, I´ll try to post as soon as I can! Here you can see the editorial I did for Spend In luxury mag October issue. Clothes are from great brands and designers such as Hermès, Loewe... It was so exciting! I hope you like the pics :)

Sí, lo sé. Hace mucho que no actualizo el blog.. ¿El motivo? El que encontráis en este post. Además de mi trabajo diario como estilista en Amazon BuyVip (que implica fotografiar unas 180 prendas/accesorios al día, con lo que podéis imaginar el ritmo/estrés que llevamos), cuando llego a casa me pongo a preparar editoriales de moda de forma freelance para revistas. Así que el poco tiempo que me sobra lo dedico a descansar... Pero prometo actualizar con la asiduidad que me sea posible :) Hoy os muestro un editorial que he hecho para la revista de lujo Spend In (el número de octubre). Pude contar con ropa de grandes firmas tales como Hermès o Loewe, fue muy emocionante! Espero que os gusten las imágenes!!

Pastel fashion editorial styled by me

This month of April I´ve got my sencond cover as fashion stylist :) This time, in an Irish gorgeous magazine called Galway Now. I´m so so excited!! Both the cover and the editorial look lovely, featuring one of the key trends for this Spring/Summer: pastel colors. You can get it at Easons in Ireland or at Apple iStand worldwide. I used brands such as Primark, Coast, Parfois, Marks&Spencer and Oasis among others (thak you all!). Hope you like the outfits I chose! Don´t forget to tell me which is your favourite one.

Este mes de Abril he conseguido mi segunda portada como estilista de moda =) Esta vez, en una revista irlandesa llamada Galway Now, estoy emocionadísima!! Tanto la portada como el editorial quedaron preciosos, inspirados por una de las tendencias de esta Primavera/Verano: los colores pastel. Podéis comprarla en Easons si estáis en Irlanda o en todo el mundo a través de Apple iStand. Utilicé prendas de Primark, Coast, Parfois, Marks&Spencer y Oasis entre otras (gracias a todas ellas!). ¡Espero que os gusten los looks que elegí! No olvidéis decirme qué outfit os gusta más.

Keep it simple

Some months ago I styled this minimal fashion shoot and it was featured in Guys and Girls magazine. Here you have all the pictures taken by an amazing photographer, Brian McNamara. The model was also great (Georgia Gannon from Distinct Model Management, so good that I've worked with her again!) and so was the MUA, Sarah Jane Carney. Hope you like the outfits! BTW, I bought three items from this shoot... do you remember which ones? -You have already see them in this outfit post!

Hace unos meses fui estilista en un shooting de moda de temática minimalista, el cual fue publicado en la revista Guys and Girls. Aquí tenéis todas las imágenes de un fotógrafo increíble, Brian McNamara. La modelo era también estupenda (Georgia Gannon de la agencia de modelos Distinct; me gustó tanto que la llamé para otro shooting!), al igual que la maquilladora, Sarah Jane Carney. ¡Espero que os gusten los estilismos! Por cierto, me compré tres cosas de este shooting... ¿os acordáis de cuáles? -Ya las visteis en este outfit post!

Inspiration for fashion shoots

I am pretty hectic with my upcoming fashion shoots, so you have to forgive me for no posting so often as usual! I'll try to do my best :) Here you can see some inspirational moodboards for fashion shoots: fairy tale (the one I did last Monday), Monochrome (the one I'm having this Saturday with a dar skin model) and Colour Blocks. Can't wait to show you all of them! :)

Estoy bastante (muy) ocupada haciendo shootings de moda, así que tenéis que perdonarme por no estar posteando tan a menudo como antes -intentaré bloggear lo máximo que pueda! Aquí podéis ver unos moodboards de inspiración para shootings de moda: cuento de hadas (el que tuve el pasado lunes), monocromo (el que voy a tener este sábado con una modelo de color) y bloques de color. ¡Qué ganas de enseñaros el resultado de todos ellos!

My fashion editorial for the Sunday Business Post Magazine

Today is one of the most important and exciting days in my career. My first fashion shoot published in an important Irish magazine!! :) I styled this floral theme a few days ago and today it's been published in the Sunday Business Post magazine. We did it in a beautiful flower shop. Model is Amy from Distinct Model Management, MUA is Ailhe Lynch, Joe Hayes from Tony&Guy styled the hair and the photographer is Bredan Duffy. Hoy es uno de los días más importantes y emocionantes en mi carrera profesional. Mi primer shooting de moda publicado en una revista importante de Irlanda! =) Fui estilista en esta inspiración floral hace unos días y hoy ha sido publicado en la revista que viene con el Sunday Business Post. Lo fotografiamos en una preciosa tienda de flores. La modelo es Amy de Distinct Model Management, la maquilladora es Ailhe Lynch, Joe Hayes de Tony&Guy se encargó de los peinados y el fotógrafo es Bredan Duffy. Espero que os gusten!! Arnotts SS 2014 Lingerie fashion show

On Wednesday I had the opportunity to assist Linda Conway, the stylist for the Arnotts SS 2014 lingerie and swimwear fashion show. Here you have pictures of the backstage, my fav pieces (that yellow Milly tote bag is fab!) and the lovely floral crowns worn by the models.

El miércoles tuve la oportunidad de asistir a Linda Conway, la estilista del desfile de lencería y baño primavera 2014 de Arnotts. Aquí tenéis algunas imágenes del backstage, mis piezas preferidas (especialmente el bolso amarillo de Milly) y unas coronas de flores preciosas que llevaron las modelos.

Baroque fashion shoot

Exciting news!! Tabitha magazine has published the fashion shoot I styled some weeks ago :) It was a Baroque inspired fashion theme in a gorgeous castle. It was an amazing experience and really fun -my first shoot as stylist (and not styling assistant). Hope you like the outfits!! Thanks to the gorgeous team and the stores from which I borrow stuff (Penneys, A Wear, Project 51, OM Diva, Pamela Scott, Alex and Ani and Christina Keogh).You have all the credits at the end and, in other post, I'll show you the making off pics!

Os traigo noticias emocionantes! La revista Tabitha ha publicado en su web el shooting de moda en el que fui estilista hace unas semanas. Se trató de un shooting de inspiración barroca en un castillo espectacular. Fue una experiencia genial y muy divertida -es mi primer editorial como estilista (y no asistente de estilismo). ¡Espero que os gusten los looks! Desde aquí muchas gracias a todo el equipo y a las tiendas que me prestaron la ropa: Primark, A Wear, Project 51, OM Diva, Pamela Scott, Alex and Ani y Christina Keogh. Grunge male fashion shoot

As you probably know if you follow my Twitter or my Facebook fanpage, in Dublin I'm working as Sales Assistant for Pamela Scott but in my days off I collaborate with photographers as fashion stylist =) Almost when I came here, I went with stylist Justine King to a male fashion shoot as her assistant. The theme was grunge and all the pictures have been published in Tabitha Magazine. Here you have the making off and my fav pics!

Como ya sabéis los que me seguís por Twitter o en mi fanpage de Facebook, en Dublín estoy trabajando como Sales Assistant en Pamela Scott pero en mis días libres colaboro con fotógrafos como estilista de moda :) Al poco de llegar aquí, fui con la estilista Justine King a un shooting de moda masculino como su asistente. La temática era el grunge y las imágenes han sido publicadas en Tabitha Magazine. Aquí tenéis el making off y mis fotos preferidas!

Kate Moss accesories collection for Carphone Warehouse

Yesterday morning I went to a wonderful press breakfast where I could see the new accesories collection designed by Kate Moss for Carphone Warehouse. The smartphone and tablet cases have amazing designs inspired by the style icon's own wardrobe. The cute anchor emblem is taken from a tattoo on her wrist, whereas the cocodrile look-a-like leather case (my favourite one) with gold embellishment is inspired by a vintage lighter that Kate loves.

Ayer por la mañana asistí a un desayuno de prensa increíble donde pude ver la nueva colección de accesorios diseñada por Kate Moss para Carphone Warehouse.  Las fundas que ha diseñado para móviles y tablets están inspiradas en detalles del propio armario de Kate. Por ejemplo, el logo del ancla (precioso, por cierto) es como el que ella tiene tatuado en su muñeca, mientras que la funda de piel con imitación a cocodrilo (mi preferida) con detalle dorado en el lateral está basada en uno de sus mecheros vintage favoritos.

She was born in Toronto, where she studied Art History. Then, she moved to New York and worked as Lori Goldstein stylist assistant, when she met international photographers such as Richard Avedon, Annie Leibotvitz and Bruce Weber. And now, Joanna Hillman is the Market Editor at Harper's Bazaar, sourcing the globe for the latest trends and must-have items.

Nació en Toronto, donde estudió Historia del Arte. Después, se mudó a Nueva York y trabajó como asistente de estilismo para Lori Goldstein, y es cuando conoció a fotógrafos internacionales de la talla de Richard Avedon, Annie Leibotvitz and Bruce Weber. Y ahora, Joanna Hillman es la Market Editor de Harper's Bazaar, recorriendo el mundo en busca de las últimas tendencias y must-haves.
