#OOTD + #NewIn

Today a quick post but full of lovely details and some of my current fav things in my wardrobe. Just in case you don´t follow my Instagram account (raquel_tg), I usually post pics about my outfit of the day and the new in pieces I buy. What do you think about the embellished top by Needle&Thread? I bought it some weeks ago in Dublin. Oh, and I can stop wearing the Uterqüe brown suede sandals, so stylish and comfy!! Other of my fav accessories for summer is the M&S yellow bag in an unusual shape. Do you like it? Happy Friday and have a nice weekend! P.S.: it was my birthday yesterday :)

Hoy una entrada rapidita pero con varios de mis complementos y prendas favoritas actualmente en mi armario :) Por si aún no me seguís en Instagram (raquel_tg), a menudo subo detalles de mis looks diarios y mis nuevas adquisiciones. ¿Qué os parece el top de pedrería de Needle&Thread? Me hice con él hace poco en Dublín. Y no puedo bajarme de las sandalias de ante marrón de Uterqüe que me regaló mi novio; además de preciiiiosas, ¡son comodísimas! Otro de mis favoritos para verano es el bolso amarillo de M&S, con una forma muy original. ¿Qué os parece? ¡Feliz viernes y a disfrutar del fin de semana! PD: ayer fue mi cumpleaños :)

Dressy outfit

When I saw this paillettes fabric in sheer I knew it would be perfect for a pencil midi skirt. We put a lining in white, the same colour than the shirt, and I wore it with accessories in nude and gold. Do you like the final look and my new design?

Cuando vi este tejido de lentejuelas sobre gasa semi-transparente supe que iba a quedar genial en forma de falda midi ajustada. Le añadimos un forro de color blanco roto a juego con la blusa y decidí combinarla con toques de dorado y nude en los accesorios. ¿Qué os parecen el resultado y mi nuevo diseño?

Fashion event in LubyLab showroom

On Thursday I attended a launching event at Lubylab showroom in Madrid with my friend Paola (journalist at L'Ink magazine). They showed us the Swiss accesories brand Van Astyn, and we also had a look at all the designers they have in the showroom. Among them, we can find the amazing Assaad Awad and the minimal clothes made by Miguel de Gil. BTW, here you can get the earrings I´m wearing (last pic), for just 2,50€! :)

El jueves acudí con mi amiga Paola (periodista en L'Ink Magazine) a un evento de presentación en el showroom de LubyLab en Madrid. Nos mostraron la nueva colección de la firma de bolsos de origen suizo Van Astyn y, de paso, echamos un vistazo a todos los diseñadores que tienen en el showroom. Entre ellos, se encuentran el genial Assaad Awad y la ropa minimalista de Miguel de Gil. Ah, y aquí podéis haceros con los pendientes que llevo (última foto), por tan solo 2,50€! ;)

A touch of red

I´ve never had a red bag and it´s indeed a basic that can be really useful for any outfit in neutral colours. Mine is from Oasap, with a lovely shape and two zipes in both sides. Do you prefer basic pieces or trendiest ones, with prints etc? :)

Nunca había tenido un bolso rojo y es realmente todo un básico que puede ser muy útil para combinar con cualquier look en tonos neutros. El mío es de Oasap, con una forma muy bonita y dos cremalleras a ambos lados. ¿Vosotras sois más de básicos o de piezas de pura tendencia, estampados, etc?

Parfois blogger event

Yesterday morning we had an incredible event in the new Parfois store in Dublin (located in Henry St). Both the decor and the accessories (I am a huge fan of this brand -they have lots of gorgeous and quality things at such cheap prices!!) were amazing. Anouska Proetta hosted the event and she selected her fav pieces from the store. We also had chocolate thanks to Butlers Chocolate (we could not start the morning better), great music, laughs and lots of freebies!

Ayer por la mañana tuvimos un evento genial en la nueva tienda de Parfois en Dublín (situada en Henry St). Tanto la decoración como los accesorios (soy una gran fan de la marca -tienen cosas preciosas y de calidad a precios muy baratos!) eran geniales. La bloguera Anouska Proetta (la más famosa aquí en Irlanda) eligió sus productos favoritos de la tienda. También tuvimos chocolate gracias a Butlers Chocolate (mi favorito!!), música y muchos regalos de la firma.

Basics

I´ve been looking for a basic -but different- cardigan for a long time, and this oversized one by AX Paris is just perfect! Indeed, this outfit is full of basic garments: jeans, white blouse, black booties and black jacket. Accessories give the final touch, with the metallic fabric of the bag, a cute bracelet by Avenio and a bit of colour from the handmade necklace by El Taller de Dorotea.

Hacía tiempo que llevaba buscando un cardigan negro que fuera básico pero distinto al mismo tiempo, y este de AX Paris con silueta oversized me pareció perfecto. El look está realmente lleno de básicos: jeans, blusa blanca, botines negros y chaqueta negra. El toque lo dan los complementos, con un brillo metalizado en el bolso, una pulsera preciosa de Avenio y un aporte de color a través del collar hecho a mano por Alicia de El Taller de Dorotea.

Alex and Ani launch party

Last Thursday I went with Lara to a party by Alex and Ani to launch its new collection of bracelets. Courtney Smith introduced the new bracelets whereas Vogue Williams was in charge of the music with a beautiful dress (yes, she is also a model) and, the rest of us, enjoyed sushi and my favourite cider: Kopparberg with fruit mix... yummy! It was great!

El jueves pasado fui con Lara a una fiesta de la firma Alex and Ani para presentar su nueva colección de brazaletes. La estilista Courtney Smith mostró la nueva línea de pulseras mientras Vogue Williams pinchaba música con un vestido precioso (sí, también es modelo) y el resto nos poníamos las botas a sushi y a mi sidra preferida: Kopparberg con sabor a frutas... mmm! Fue genial!

Printed dress with birds

I love prints with birds in dresses and shirts so, when I saw this ZLZ dress, I felt in love :) It's made of chiffon and in sweet colours, with a comfy and cute elastic waistband, just perfect for the summer season! I wore it with wedges and jewellery in gold.

Me encantan los estampados de pájaros en vestidos y blusas así que, cuando vi este vestido de ZLZ, me enamoró =) Está hecho en chiffon y colores pastel, con goma elástica en la cintura (muy cómoda y favorecedora), simplemente perfecto para el verano! Lo llevé con cuñas y accesorios en dorado.

Alex and Ani AW 2013

One of the most interesting brands I've discovered in Dublin is Alex and Ani (I've already talked about them in my post about their event in Arnotts). It has gorgeous bracelets that can be mixed; I personally love how five or seven bracelets look in one hand. This jewellery brand has added a new exciting collection: Eden's Equinox, inspired by the earth's seamless harmony of colours.

Una de las firmas más interesantes que he descubierto en Dublín es Alex and Ani (ya he hablado de la en mi blog cuando fui a su evento en Arnotts). Tiene brazaletes preciosos que se pueden combinar entre sí; a mí personalmente me encanta como quedan unos cinco o siete en una misma muñeca. La firma de joyería ha incorporado una colección nueva: Eden's Equinox, inspirada en la transparente armonía de colores de la tierra.

Kate Moss accesories collection for Carphone Warehouse

Yesterday morning I went to a wonderful press breakfast where I could see the new accesories collection designed by Kate Moss for Carphone Warehouse. The smartphone and tablet cases have amazing designs inspired by the style icon's own wardrobe. The cute anchor emblem is taken from a tattoo on her wrist, whereas the cocodrile look-a-like leather case (my favourite one) with gold embellishment is inspired by a vintage lighter that Kate loves.

Ayer por la mañana asistí a un desayuno de prensa increíble donde pude ver la nueva colección de accesorios diseñada por Kate Moss para Carphone Warehouse.  Las fundas que ha diseñado para móviles y tablets están inspiradas en detalles del propio armario de Kate. Por ejemplo, el logo del ancla (precioso, por cierto) es como el que ella tiene tatuado en su muñeca, mientras que la funda de piel con imitación a cocodrilo (mi preferida) con detalle dorado en el lateral está basada en uno de sus mecheros vintage favoritos.

Hunter AW 2013

Summer has ended in Dublin, we have had two days with terrible storms, so we are about to wear wellingtons again! In Madrid, I have the opportunity to see the new HUNTER Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collection, with new amazing models and colours.

En Dublín se ha acabado el verano jaja, llevamos dos días con unas tormentas increíbles (ayer me calé enterita!), así que ya prácticamente nos tenemos que poner las botas de agua. En Madrid tuve la oportunidad de ver la colección de otoño invierno 2013-2014 de HUNTER, con nuevos modelos y colores muy chulos.

Avenio jewellery

One of my favourite jewellery brands is Avenio, a Spanish designer with unique and gorgeous designs. You may have seen some Avenio pieces in my outfits. The statement necklace you can see in the second pic is totally perfect, isn't it?

Una de mis firmas favoritas de joyería es Avenio, una diseñadora española que elabora piezas únicas y espectaculares. Seguramente habréis visto algunos diseños de Avenio en mis outfits. El collar corto que véis en la segunda foto es simplemente perfecto, ¿verdad? :)

Summer Stylist Workshop in Fran&Jane

The same day than the Arnotts event with Angela Scanlon, I also attended a Summer Stylist Workshop in the Fran&Jane store located in the Dundrum Centre, with the stylist Julie Cobbe from Stylefish (nice to meet you!). Cupcakes, champagne, balloons and feminine designs in a beautiful store.

El mismo día del evento en Arnotts con Angela Scanlon, asistí a un Workshop de Estilismos de Verano en la tienda de Fran&Jane situada en el centro comercial Dundrum, con la estilista Julie Cobbe de Stylefish (encantada de conocerte!). Cupcakes, champagne, globos y diseños muy femeninos en una tienda preciosa.

Arnotts fashion event with Angela Scanlon

Last Thrusday, I attended two fashion events in Dublin with my friend and blogger Claire. The first one was in Arnotts store, with the gorgeous writer and stylist Angela Scanlon and the brand of which she is ambassador: Alex and Ani, and its amazing bracelets. The dress you can see in the pics is my last design, with a McQueen look-a-like mirrored print.

El pasado jueves asistí a dos eventos de moda aquí en Dublín con mi amiga y bloguera Claire. El primero de ellos fue en los almacenes Arnotts, con la genial estilista Angela Scanlon (la más famosa en Irlanda) y la marca de la cual es embajadora: Alex and Ani, y sus espectaculares brazaletes. El vestido que llevo en las fotos es mi última creación, con un estampado espejo muy McQueen :)
