Spring work outfit ideas

As you know, I recently started a new position in Madrid as Image Stylist for Amazon BuyVip. Here you can see the outfits I wore during my first week, when the current weather allows us to be dressy with blazers and, if we are standing for a long time, we can always wear pointed flat shoes (comfy -if you have small feet- and smart at the same time). Work outfits will always depend on the business and kind of job we are doing, of course. I currently love wearing neutral colours and a touch of colour. What do you usually wear to go to the office?

Como sabéis, empecé recientemente un nuevo trabajo en Madrid como estilista para Amazon BuyVip. Aquí os muestro los looks que llevé durante la primera semana, cuando el entretiempo nos permite ir arregladas con blazers y, si vamos a estar muchas horas de pie, podemos optar por el zapato plano con punta (cómodo -si tienes el pie estrecho- y formal al mismo tiempo). Por supuesto, los looks para ir a trabajar siempre dependerán de la empresa y el tipo de puesto que desempeñemos.  A mí actualmente me encanta llevar prendas en tonos neutros y una en un color vivo. ¿Vosotras cómo soléis ir vestidas a la oficina?

Cozy ethnic sweater

There is nothing else better than a cozy sweater and a pair of Hunter boots for a rainy and cold day in Dublin. This kind of outfit is really comfy and useful here, and it can be really cute if you choose a sweater in a nice print. I usually wear them with leggins or jeans if they are printed, and with skirts if they are plain. And you?

No hay nada mejor que un jersey gordito y unas botas Hunter para un día frío y de lluvia en Dublín. Este tipo de looks son muy cómodos y útiles aquí, y pueden quedar muy monos si elegimos un jersey con estampado. Normalmente los llevo con leggins o vaqueros si tienen algún tipo de print, o con faldas si son lisos. ¿Y vosotras?

Navy blue and aqua green dress

This is the outfit I wore the second day at my trip to Avila (Spain) to La Posada del Agua hotel. It looks like a navy shirt and an ethnic printed skirt, but it is really a dress. I do love its colours, which I paired with baroque earrings, navy tights, a geometric bangle and my new shoes. Continue reading to see all the credits and more pics :)

Este es el look que lleve el segundo día de mi viaje a Ávila (España) al hotel La Posada del Agua. Parece una blusa azul marino y una falda de estampado étnico, pero en realidad es un vestido. Me encanta la mezcla de colores que tiene, los cuales combiné con unos pendientes de estilo barroco, medias azul marino, un brazalete geométrico y mis nuevos zapatos. The blue jacket and the perfect hotel

Last week I went with my boyfriend to one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, in a hotel with breath-taking views: La Posada del Agua, in Avila (Spain). We booked the suite room, with views towards the reservoir from the room and the whirlpool tub. The decor is totally perfect and the chill-out terrace and private beach turn this hotel into a gorgeous place. The first day there I chose a two-toned outfit in order to enhance the jacket.

La semana pasada fui con mi chico a uno de los lugares más bonitos en los que he estado, en un hotel con unas vistas espectaculares: La Posada del Agua, en Ávila. Cogimos la suite, con vistas al embalse desde la habitación y desde la bañera con hidromasaje. La decoración es, para mi gusto, perfecta y la terraza chill-out y la playa privada ponen el broche final a este idílico lugar. El primer día elegí un look bicolor para dar protagonismo a la chaqueta.

Denim and plaid print

Plaid print is one of the trends for current Fall/Winter season. I do love it in total looks or with neutral colours and high heels. The denim jacket is the perfect touch for this look (can you believe that I haven't got one until now? Me neither!!).

El estampado tartán o con cuadros es una de las tendencias para este otoño/invierno. A mí personalmente me encanta como queda o bien en total looks, o bien combinado con tonos neutros y taconazos. La cazadora vaquera da el toque final al look (por cierto, os podéis creer que no tenía ninguna hasta ahora? Yo tampoco!!).

New in!

Grey, yellow and turquoise!

Nothing else better than flat sandals, jeans and a comfy t-shirt for a shopping day! I wore the ZLZ grey t-shirt with the colours in its print: yellow and turquoise, in a geometric bag, yellow nails and statement jewellery.

Sandalias planas, vaqueros y una camiseta cómoda son los aliados perfectos para un día de shopping. Combiné la camiseta gris de ZLZ con colores que aparecían en su estampado: amarillo y turquesa, en un bolso geométrico, uñas en amarillo y joyas llamativas.

Military & Cut out trends

How are you, my lovely readers? :) Cold weather has arrived to Dublin, so these pics are from last week in Spain. I do love the shirt dresses with a belt, elastic band or a cut in the waist, they are really flattering! I got the sandals I'm wearing for just 2 € thanks to Penneys and the voucher they gave us in the blogger party we had some days ago. I was looking for a pair of shoes in the cut-out trend and these ones are perfect (and very comfy!).

¿Qué tal todo? :) En Dublín ya ha empezado el frío, estas fotos son de la semana pasada en España. Me encanta como sientan los vestidos camiseros con un cinturón, goma elástica o corte en la cintura. ¡Favorecen un montón! Las sandalias que llevo debo agradecérselo a Penneys (Primark), porque me salieron por 2€ con la tarjeta regalo que nos dieron en el evento blogger de hace unos días :D Estaba buscando unos zapatos con la tendencia cut-out y estos me parecieron perfectos (y súper cómodos!).

Printed dress with birds

I love prints with birds in dresses and shirts so, when I saw this ZLZ dress, I felt in love :) It's made of chiffon and in sweet colours, with a comfy and cute elastic waistband, just perfect for the summer season! I wore it with wedges and jewellery in gold.

Me encantan los estampados de pájaros en vestidos y blusas así que, cuando vi este vestido de ZLZ, me enamoró =) Está hecho en chiffon y colores pastel, con goma elástica en la cintura (muy cómoda y favorecedora), simplemente perfecto para el verano! Lo llevé con cuñas y accesorios en dorado.

Oohlala blogger party + Primark show

Oohlala Irish fashion magazine organized a gorgeous blogger party with a fashion show by Penneys, make up and nail art, amazing music by DJ Her, doughnuts, freebies, awards and lots of fun! It was in the lovely 37 Dawson Street bar in Dublin -I love its decor. I went there with the bloggers Lara, Olayemi and her friend.

La revista de moda irlandesa Oohlala organizó una fiesta blogger espectacular con desfile de Primark, maquillaje y nail art, música inmejorable de la mano de DJ Her, donuts, regalos, premios y muchas risas! Fue en la cafetería 37 Dawson Street de Dublín, que tiene una decoración genial. Fui con las blogueras Lara, Olayemi y la amiga de esta última.
