Flowers and soft pink

On Sunday I went to have a coffe -a Starbucks one :) with a friend in Dublin and this is the outfit I wore, with my new floral shirt thanks to Oasap, the handmade wood glasses my boyfriend gave me for Christmas, a bargain heels from Penneys (just 4€, can you believe that?!) and watch and ring thanks to Born Pretty Store.

El doming fui con una amiga a tomar un café a Starbucks y este es el look que llevé, con mi nueva camisa de estampado floral gracias a Oasap, las gafas de madera hechas a mano que me regaló mi chico por Navidad, unos zapatos de Penneys que fueron toda una ganga (4€, os lo podéis creer?! jaja) y reloj y anillo gracias a Born Pretty Store.

Dress in crystal print

This longsleeve dress is the first thing I've got from FrontRowShop and I'm totally in love with both the fabric (high quality) and the print. I wore it a few days ago with booties for a nice brunch I had with my friends in Dublin. The crystal print has beutiful colours that I styled with the lilac nail polish and my new geometric silver rings (enjoy now a 10% discount code RTT10 at BornPrettyStore!).

Este vestido de manga larga es lo primero que recibo de FrontRowShop y me han encantado tanto el tejido (de muy buena calidad) como el estampado. Lo llevé el otro día con botines para un brunch que tuve con mis amigas de Dublín. Pero, por si acaso, aquí tenéis un collage con mis obsesiones actuales -no puedo dejar de pensar en la temporada de primavera/verano! Arnotts SS 2014 fashion show

As you saw in this post, Arnotts hold a press event for their Spring/Summer 2013-2014 collections. Here you have the fashion show, with various trends: total prints, black and white, colour blocks and 50's lady style. Above I am in the front row with the lovely Darryl Gibney (journalist and electric blue fan as I am haha) and, before that pic, a metallic clutch I would love to have!

Como ya os enseñé en este post, Arnotts organizó un evento de prensa para mostrarnos las colecciones de primavera/verano 2013-2014. Aquí tenéis el desfile de moda, dividido en varias tendencias: total prints, blanco y negro, colour blocks y estilo lady 50's. Arriba podéis verme en el front row con Darryl Gibney (periodista y del team azul eléctrico al igual que yo jeje) y, antes de esa imagen, un clutch metalizado que me encantaría tener!

Black coat and plaid scarf

I have previously talked about the Sammydress online store in this post and about its amazing prices (the coat you can see is this pictures can be yours for only 14,98€!). En este post ya os hablé de la tienda online Sammydress y sus increíbles precios (el abrigo que veis en las fotos cuesta tan solo 14,98€!). Muchas me habéis preguntado sobre la calidad de los productos y ahora os lo puedo contar: el abrigo es muy finito pero da muchísimo calor (y recordad que estoy viviendo en Dublín y aquí hace mucho frío jeje), sienta muy bien y por supuesto las mangas se nota que no son de cuero, pero el tejido no está nada mal. I have just arrived home: as I told you on my Facebook fanpage, I went to a beautiful hotel & spa in Ireland with my boyfriend (my parent's present for Christmas -thank you!!). Acabo de llegar a casa: como os conté en mi fanpage de Facebook, fui a un hotel & spa precioso en Irlanda con mi novio (regalo de Navidades por parte de mis padres -muchas gracias!!). Arnotts SS 2014

Arnotts invited me to its SS 2014 press event in a beautiful place in Dublin. The mannequins were wearing gorgeous wigs and surrounded by flowers in a lovely scenery; indeed, the best one I have ever seen in a press launch! We could see the new trends for SS 2014 and discover new brands such as Second Female and Clover Canyon, my two favourite designers for this season at Arnotts.

Arnotts me invitó al evento de prensa de las colecciones de primavera/verano 2014 en un sitio precioso de Dublín. Los maniquís llevaban pelucas geniales y estaban rodeados de flores en una puesta en escena espectacular; de hecho, la más bonita que he visto en un evento de prensa! Pudimos ver las nuevas tendencias para la primavera de 2014 y descubrir nuevas marcas tales como Second Female y Clover Canyon, mis dos diseñadores favoritos en Arnotts para esta temporada.

Burgundy beanie and black turtleneck

Here in Dublin the wind is usually crazy, so a beanie (and a good scarf) is essential. The one I'm wearing in these pics is from Parfois and has a lovely fabric in burgundy colour. Other of my fav purchases from this season is the XXL bag from Marks&Spencer, perfect for work. And, finally, I have joined the turtleneck trend; they look gorgeous with a short necklace!

En Dublín normalmente hace mucho viento, así que un gorrito (y una buena bufanda) es algo imprescindible. El que llevo en estas fotos es de Parfois y tiene un tejido precioso en color burdeos. Otra de mis adquisiciones favoritas de esta temporada es el bolso XXL de Marks&Spencer, perfecto para ir al trabajo. Y por fin me he sumado a la tendencia de los jerseis de cuello alto; quedan genial con un collar corto :)

Bubblegum pink and fringe bag

As seen in Vogue, two of the trends for Spring/Summer 2014 are the pastel colours (with the pale pink as the key one) and bags with fringes. We can already wear both trends in our Winter outfits as I do, for example with black pants and a statement necklace. Candy colours will invade all the stores... so let's get ready! I do love them for nailpolish :) Do you prefer pale tones or strong ones?

Tal y como afirma Vogue, dos de las tendencias para la temporada primavera/verano de 2014 son los colores pastel (con el rosa palo como protagonista) y los bolsos con flecos. Podemos llevar ya ambas tendencias en nuestros looks de invierno como hago yo, en mi caso con pantalones negros y collar XXL. Vamos a tener una invasión de colores muy candy... así que yo ya me voy preparando!! Me encanta como quedan en las uñas :) ¿Vosotras sois fan de los colores dulces o preferís las tonalidades más intensas?

Delicate

The last day of the year I got an unexpected surprise when I entered Instagram: Jennifer, the gorgeous Spanish blogger from "Divina se Nace" was wearing for New Year's Eve the dress I made for her a while ago!!! It's one of my designs from the runway show I presented in Madrid, the most delicate and elaborated one. It'smade in an off-white chiffon with satin finishings and handmade flowers in a gorgeous crepè fabric in tangerine orange colour (each petal is handmade cut and then sewn together to create the flowers). El último día del año recibí una inesperada sorpresa cuando entré en Instagram: Jennifer, la conocida bloguera del blog Divina se Nace, llevó en Nochevieja el vestido que hice para ella hace un tiempo!! Es uno de los diseños que mostré en el desfile que hice en Madrid, el más delicado y elaborado de todos ellos. Está hecho en chiffon color crema con acabados en satén y flores hechas a mano en un tejido de crepè con un precioso color naranja mandarina (cada pétalo es cortado a mano y después cosido uno con otro para crear las flores). Welcome, 2014

The year 2013 has been really important to me, full of changes and big challenges. By February I finished my internship in Vogue Spain magazine and by March I was moving to Dublin, where I have made plenty of fashion shoots as stylist (click to see my portfolio!). I'm sure that the year 2014 will bring new challenges and oportunities, because the best... the best is yet to come.

El 2013 ha sido un año muy importante para mí, lleno de cambios y grandes retos. En febrero finalizaba mis prácticas en la revista Vogue España y en marzo me estaba mudando a una nueva aventura en Dublín, donde he tenido varios shootings de moda como estilista (click para ver mi portfolio!). Estoy segura de que el 2014 me brindará muchos más retos y oportunidades, porque lo mejor... Lo mejor está aún por llegar.
