Yesterday afternoon I attended my first fashion event in Dublin :) The Tommy Hilfiger and ONLY stores located in Grafton Street (the main street for shopping) held a gorgeous Summer Shopping Night with live music, drinks, catering... and even caricatures!

Ayer por la tarde asistí a mi primer evento de moda en Dublín =) Las tiendas de Tommy Hilfiger y ONLY situadas en la calle Grafton (la calle principal de tiendas) organizaron una estupenda Summer Shopping Night con música en directo, bebidas, catering... e incluso caricaturas!

Jimmy Choo Fall 2013

Some days ago, I went to the Jimmy Choo showroom located in the Replica agency to see its Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collection. Here you have the pictures of their shoes which, as usual in the brand, look very sensual and fierce, designed for women who walk firmly in high heels.

Hace poco estuve en el showroom de Jimmy Choo en la agencia Réplica para conocer su colección de otoño/invierno 2013-2014. Aquí tenéis las imágenes de unos zapatos, como es costumbre en la firma, muy sensuales y feroces, diseñados para mujeres que caminan con mucha seguridad encima de sus altísimos tacones.

Arzuaga & paillette shorts

On Mother's Day, my parents and I went to have lunch to Bodegas Arzuaga restaurant: my favourite red wine and (her daugther, Amaya) one of my favourite Spanish fashion designers. An amazing place where I took some pictures with my new paillette shorts.

El Día de la Madre, mis padres y yo fuimos a comer al restaurante de Bodegas Arzuaga: mi vino tinto preferido y (su hija, Amaya) una de mis diseñadoras españolas preferidas. Un sitio espectacular en el que aproveché a hacerme fotos con mis nuevos shorts de lentejuelas.

H&M Fall 2013

 

Yesterday afternoon I visited H&M's showroom in Madrid to see its Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 collection; specifically, the garments that were part of their runway show in the Rodin Museum, Paris last 27th of February. A collection full of textures and trends, with lots of velvet, leather, embroidery, rhinestones and a rock feeling.

Ayer me pasé por el Showroom de H&M en Madrid para ver en persona la colección de otoño/invierno 2013-2014; en concreto, las prendas que formaron parte del desfile que hicieron el pasado 27 de febrero en el Museo Rodin de París. Una colección llena de texturas y tendencias, con mucho terciopelo, cuero, bordados, pedrería y un punto rock.

Olivia Palermo & the Maasai project

 

 

Some days ago, beautiful Olivia Palermo was in Madrid to present the new Pikolinos Spring Summer 2013 collection. She is the brand ambassador for the Maasai collection, full of ethnic prints, beaded sandals and embroidered bags. Olivia worn a black pleated mini skirt, a statement necklace and a gorgeous vest.

Hace unos días, la preciosa Olivia Palermo estuvo en Madrid para presentar la nueva colección de primavera/verano 2013 de Pikolinos. Es la embajadora de la colección Maasai, llena de estampados étnicos, sandalias con abalorios y bolsos bordados. Olivia llevó para la ocación un minifalda plisada color negro, un collar XXL y un chaleco espectacular.

Goodbye, Madrid. Hello, Dublin.

El año pasado, estuve unos días de otoño en Dublín. Dentro de tan solo una semana (el sábado 25 de mayo), me mudaré definitivamente allí. Sí, dejo Madrid y dejo España. Por supuesto, seguiré allí con mi blog y continuaré actualizando igual o incluso más! Ya tenemos piso en Dublín, muy blanco y luminoso, con jardín.. ¡seguid leyendo para ver el resto! :)

Last year, I spent some days of Fall season in Dublin. In just a week  (on Saturday, 25th May) I'm definetively moving to Dublin. Yes, I leave Madrid and I leave Spain. Of course, I will continue posting in this blog, the same than now or even more! We have got a beautiful house there, with white decor and a garden... continue reading to see it!

A tweed jacket designed by myself, a nice white shirt with flowers in the sleeves, a cute necklace by Avenio and Zara nude heels. Wanna see the whole outfit? =)

Descubrí a MamenChica en el Fitting Room Madrid y me asombró cómo podía hacer todos esos tocados y zapatos personalizados con materiales reciclados (¡incluso redes de cebolla!). I discovered MamenChica at the Madrid Fitting Room event, and I was amazed about how she creates all those headdresses and customized shoes with reclycled materials (including onion networks!). Nescafé City Gampling

 

Nescafé Dolce Gusto invited me to enjoy an exclusive and special event with some journalists and bloggers: the City Gampling (camping+glamour). Infinite relax time in Madrid city center, tasting its new Marrakesh Style Tea, eating Arabic food, listening to live music, plus Moroccan decor, massages... incredible! At night, we sleep in a cute outdoor jaima, surrounded by nature.

Nescafé Dolce Gusto me invitó ayer a un evento muy exclusivo y especial junto a un reducido grupo de editores y blogueros: el City Gampling (camping+glamour). Relax infinito en pleno centro de Madrid, degustando su nuevo té Marrakesh Style, probando la comida árabe, escuchando música en directo, dándonos masajes, más decoración marroquí, y muchas, muchas risas... ¡increíble! Por la noche, dormimos en una preciosa jaima al aire libre, rodeados de naturaleza. 

MET GALA 2013 -Curiosities

 

Yesterday evening, I saw the complete MET Gala. Yes, until the 2 a.m. GTM. One hour before, I predicted the Chanel SS 2013 Couture dress that Diane Kruger would probably wear (I saw it and thought: this dress is made for her!). AND I WAS RIGHT! :) Continue reading to see the best looks and make up, plus the ridiculous phrases that some celebrities said (I think any of them knew about punk, neither Anna Wintour...). BTW, Cara Delevigne was amazing.

Ayer me quedé viendo la Gala del MET. Sí, entera, hasta las dos de la madrugada. Una hora antes, vaticiné el vestido de Chanel SS 2013 Couture que probablemente llevaría Diane Kruger (lo vi y pensé: está hecho para ella!). Y HE ACERTADO! :D Continuad leyendo para ver los mejores looks y maquillajes, y las ridículas frases que dijeron algunas famosas (creo que nadie sabían qué es el punk, ni siquiera Anna Wintour...). Por cierto, Cara Delevigne estaba espectacular.

Origami skirt

 

Estoy enamorada de esta falda/pantalón de Zara estilo origami. Creo que es uno de sus mejores diseños esta temporada de primavera 2013!! Ya se la habréis visto a otras blogueras como la famosa Rumi Neely, quien la ha sacado ya al menos tres veces diferentes en su blog, e incluso a la mismísima Karolina Kurkova :) ¿Qué os parece cómo la he combinado yo?

I do love this skirt/short by Zara in origami style. I think it's one of their best designs for this Spring 2013 season! Probably, you would have seen it already in other bloggers such as the well-known Rumi Neely, who has showed it at least three different times in her blog, and even being worn by Karolina Kurkova. What do you think about my combination? =)

Argot&Margot SS 2013

Hace unos días, asistí junto a un grupo de bloggers a la presentación de la colección primavera/verano 2013 de Argot&Margot. El lugar, una preciosa floristería muy acorde con la colección (Llorens&Duran): delicada, etérea, llena de matices (casi todas las prendas eran estampadas) y confeccionadas en tejidos livianos.

A few days ago, I went to the Argot&Margot presentation for its Spring/Summer 2013 collection with a group of bloggers. The place was an awesome florist very related with the garments (called Llorens&Duran): delicate, ethereal, full of nuances (almost all pieces were printed) and made of light fabrics.

My Deco Tips for Westwing

Mi última colaboración ha sido con Westwing, un portal de ventas exclusivas de muebles de lujo para una casa con estilo. Mi deco-consejo es aportar color y calidez a las estancias a través de los cojines y/o las cortinas. Sobre la cama, nada mejor que alternar cojines en diferentes tonos de ocre. Para el salón, atrévete con las tonalidades más fuertes: fucsia, pistacho, esmeralda, naranja... 

My last collaboration has been with Westwing, an exclusive online store with luxury furniture to get a stylish house. My deco-tip is about adding a touch of colour and warm feeling using cushions and/or curtains. Over your bed, nothing else better than alternating cushions in different ocher tonalities. In the dinning room, dare yourself with vibrant colours: fuchsia, pistachio green, emerald, orange...
