Stripes & Sita Murt

Hay dos outfits que todavía no os habia enseñado (y son de enero...!!): uno con la archi-conocida tendencia de las rayas en blanco y negro, y el otro con la chaqueta de Sita Murt que me regaló mi chico estas Navidades.

Here you have the two outfits I haven't posted yet (and they are from January...!!). One of them, with the well-known trend of the black&white stripes; the other one, wearing the Sita Murt jacket that my boyfriend gave me as Christmas present. 

Wearing the patchwork denim trend

Una de las tendencias para primavera/verano 2013 es el tejido vaquero, como ya os adelanté en mi blog. Y si es con efecto patchwork o collage, se convierte en todo un must have. ¡Me enamoré de esta camisa en cuanto la vi!

The denim fabric is of the trends for Spring/Summer 2013, as I told you previously in my blog. And if it goes with a patchwork or collage effect, it turns into a must have. I fell in love with this shirt at first sight!!

Las Leyes del Glam según Vogue

Como sabéis, estuve de prácticas en Vogue España. Acaba de publicarse en Vogue.es el vídeo en el que trabajé como asistente de estilismo junto a la genial Beatriz Moreno de la Cova!! Me ha hecho muchísima ilusión ver el resultado; ¡me encanta! :)

As you many know, I was an intern at Vogue Spain. They have just published in Vogue.es the fashion video in which I work as styling assistang along with Beatriz Moreno de la Cova!! I'm really excited about the result; I do love it! =)

Fue muy divertido y emocionante el idear los looks para Vogue. Las Leyes del Glam describe con movimientos a cámara lenta las nuevas normas de la estética disco. Así es como se llevan ahora los estampados, el estilo rockero, los flecos y el estilo lady. 

Creating these looks for Vogue was really exciting and funny. The Laws of Glam describes in slow motion the new rules for the disco esthetic. Here is the way we should wear now prints, the rock style, fringes and the lady style.

Tratamos de construir looks muy ponibles para inspirar a la gente real de la calle. En el primero, apostamos por la mezcla de prints; en el segundo, dimos un giro al estilo lady con un trench azul cielo (una pasada el color en directo); en el look rockero, escogimos una perfecto espectacular para combinarla con prendas básicas y unos mocasines; y en el último, nos atrevimos a mezclar flecos con brillos metalizados, estampado leopardo y botines planos.

We tried to build realistic outfits to inspire real people in the streets. In the first of them, we bet for mixing prints; in the second one, we play with the lady style and add a baby blue trench (its colour is fabulous!); in the rock mood, we chose a leather jacket and put it with basic garments plus loafers; and in the last one, we dare to mix fringes plus metallics, leopard print and flat booties.

La falda de Fausto Puglisi (uno de los diseñadores favoritos de Anna Dello Russo) era una pasada, al igual que los pendientes XXL de cuarzo del desfile de Etro SS 2013, las originales joyas de Lara Bohnic, el trench de Gerard Darel y los botines de Tabitha Simmons. Aquí tenéis algunas de las piezas que utilizamos con sus precios y links para comprarlas. También hay varias piezas low-cost, como el body negro con flecos (Bershka) o el collar nacarado (H&M).

Fauto Puglisi  (one of Anna Dello Russo's favourite designers) skirt was beyond amazing, and so was the XXL quartz earrings from Etro SS 2013 runway show, the original jewelry designed by Lara Bohnic, the Gerard Darel trench and the booties by Tabitha Simmons. Here you have som eof the pieces we chose with its prices and links to shop them. There are also low-cost pieces, such as the black fringed body (Bershka) and the nacreous necklace (from H&M).

Outfit: The plaid shirt

El estampado de cuadros tipo tartán es una de las tendencias que vienen para la primavera/verano de 2013. Y, según Style.com, esta tendencia se mantendrá para el próximo otoño/invierno (como así han anticipado diseñadores como Gucci, Preen, Chanel y Valentino).

Plaid tartan print is one of the trends for this Spring/Summer 2013. And, as Style.com has told us, it'll be still trendy for next Fall/Winter season (as seen in Gucci, Preen, Chanel and Valentino pre-fall collections).

Como veis, no hacía un día muy soleado para hacer fotos de exterior... Y como leeréis en los créditos, le he robado esta camisa a mi novio y me encanta cómo queda a modo de vestido! ¿Vosotras también cogéis ropa del armario de vuestros chicos? :)

As you can see, the weather was not too good for outdoor photos... And as you might read in the credits, I've stolen my boyfriend's shirt and I do love how it looks as a dress! Do you also steal clothing from your boyfriend's closet? =)

Crop tops have been trying to sneak into our Summer wardrobe since two seasons ago. Now, did you allow it in?

Los tops cortitos, que dejan ver la parte del estómago y que se pusieron de moda en los años 90, han aparecido en varios desfiles de diseñadores top como Miu Miu o Jil Stuart y se posicionan como una de las tendencias clave en tops para primavera verano de 2013. A menudo se dejan entrever bajo blazers, abrigos o trajes chaqueta; otras, con faldas tipo lápiz de talle muy alto.

The short tops, which shows the midriff and were a fashion trend in the 90's, have appear in some runway shows from top designers such as Miu Miu or Jil Stuart, and are one of the hot trends in tops for next Spring Summer 2013. Sometimes they are behind blazers, coats or suit jackets; others, with high waisted pencil skirts.

En Topshop tenéis ya a la venta online un montón de crop tops, en todos los colores y formas que podáis imaginar: lisos con tonos neutros, con transparencias o encaje (mis favoritos), a todo color o incluso con motivos tipo cómic. ¿Os atrevéis a llevar alguno?

SS 2013 ORIENTAL TREND 

Dries Van Noten - Etro

Para la temporada de primavera/verano 2013, muchos diseñadores han puesto sus ojos en la cultura asiática, tanto para sus estampados como para los cortes de las prendas. Las flores estilo japonés serán tendencia, pero también lo serán la silueta de manga amplia, sisa caída y cuerpo envolvente que recuerda a la del kimono.

For this Spring/Summer 2013, many of the designers has been inspired by Asian culture, both for the prints and for the cuts of their garments. Flowers in Japanese style will be trendy, but so will be the silhouete with wide sleeves, low armholes and wrapped body that reminds of the kimono's.

Hermès - Prada

Dries Van Noten apuesta por sacar a la calle las batas de seda con motivos japoneses y jugar con las superposiciones, mientras que Etro, Hermès y Prada cuajan sus prendas de flores y dibujos de inspiración oriental. Uniqueness cubre nuestro cuerpo de forma envolvente y Emilio Pucci nos anima a salir de fiesta con vestidos de reminiscencias orientales en una combinación ideal: negro y dorado más transparencias (¡me encanta!).

Dries Van Noten aims to wear in the street Japanese printed silk gowns, and plays with overlays; meanwhile, Etro, Hermés and Prada put lots of flowers and oriental-inspired motifs in their designs. Uniqueness covers our body in a wrapped way, and Emilio Pucci suggests us to go to parties in dresses with an oriental reminiscence and a perfect combo: black and gold plus sheer (I do love it!!).

Las tiendas low-cost aún no se han decidido a lanzar muchas prendas con toques orientales (ahora mismo andan locas con las rayas y el blanco&negro), pero ya se puede encontrar algo con estampados orientales en Zara, Asos y Topshop (¡click para ir directamente a cada prenda!).

Low-cost stores have not showed yet their garments in the Oriental trend (at this moment, they are crazy about stripes and black&white), but we can find some pieces with oriental prints at Zara, Asos and Topshop (click to shop each item!).

Una de las tendencias en bolsos que viene para esta primavera/verano de 2013 son las mochilas, como hemos podido ver en los desfiles de DKNY o Hermès. Partiendo de ellos, continúa la tendencia sporty chic que ya venimos viendo desde hace un par de temporadas. ¿Estáis preparadas para llevar el bolso a la espalda?

One of the trends in bags for next Spring/Summer 2013 is the backpacks, as we have seen in DKNY or Hermès runway shows. The sporty chic trend that we have been seing the last two seasons continues. Are you ready to carry your bag on your back?

Podemos encontrarlos ya en tiendas low-cost como Suite Blanco (la mochila con print étnico es preciosa) y Asos (la firma River Island tiene un montón); y en firmas no tan low-cost pero con diseños increíbles, como es el caso de la diseñadora Sabrina Tach (¡sus bolsos me tienen enamorada!).

We can already find them in low-cost stores such as Suite Blanco (the backpack in ethnic print is gorgeous) and Asos (River Island has made lots of them); and also brands not so cheap but with amazing designs, such as the designer Sabrina Tach (I do love her bags!!).

Se llevan sobre todo combinados en piel camel o chocolate con tejido liso o estampado en prints étnicos o a rayas. ¿Cuál es vuestro preferido?

The most trendy ones are in two fabrics: brown or tan leather plus a printed fabric in ethnic or stripes. Which one do you prefer?
