Grunge booties + checked shirt

Grunge style is coming back for Autumn/Winter 2013/2014, and plaid print is a key trend. My friends in Dublin gave me a Topshop voucher as my birthday present :) so I went directly to buy this amazing booties that I had already seen at the store (I post a pic of them in my Instagram account). I wore them with my new checked shirt thanks to Oasap.

El estilo grunge vuelve para este otoño/invierno de 2013/2014, y el estampado de cuadros es una tendencia clave. Mis amigos de Dublin me regalaron una tarjeta para gastar en Topshop como regalo de cumpleaños =) y me fui directamente a comprar estas espectaculares botas (a las que ya les habia echado el ojo y que ya os enseñe en mi Instagram jeje). Las conjunte con mi nueva camisa de cuadros gracias a Oasap.

Dries Van Noten - Etro

Para la temporada de primavera/verano 2013, muchos diseñadores han puesto sus ojos en la cultura asiática, tanto para sus estampados como para los cortes de las prendas. Las flores estilo japonés serán tendencia, pero también lo serán la silueta de manga amplia, sisa caída y cuerpo envolvente que recuerda a la del kimono.

For this Spring/Summer 2013, many of the designers has been inspired by Asian culture, both for the prints and for the cuts of their garments. Flowers in Japanese style will be trendy, but so will be the silhouete with wide sleeves, low armholes and wrapped body that reminds of the kimono's.

Dries Van Noten apuesta por sacar a la calle las batas de seda con motivos japoneses y jugar con las superposiciones, mientras que Etro, Hermès y Prada cuajan sus prendas de flores y dibujos de inspiración oriental. Uniqueness cubre nuestro cuerpo de forma envolvente y Emilio Pucci nos anima a salir de fiesta con vestidos de reminiscencias orientales en una combinación ideal: negro y dorado más transparencias (¡me encanta!).

Dries Van Noten aims to wear in the street Japanese printed silk gowns, and plays with overlays; meanwhile, Etro, Hermés and Prada put lots of flowers and oriental-inspired motifs in their designs. Uniqueness covers our body in a wrapped way, and Emilio Pucci suggests us to go to parties in dresses with an oriental reminiscence and a perfect combo: black and gold plus sheer (I do love it!!).

Las tiendas low-cost aún no se han decidido a lanzar muchas prendas con toques orientales (ahora mismo andan locas con las rayas y el blanco&negro), pero ya se puede encontrar algo con estampados orientales en Zara, Asos y Topshop (¡click para ir directamente a cada prenda!).

Low-cost stores have not showed yet their garments in the Oriental trend (at this moment, they are crazy about stripes and black&white), but we can find some pieces with oriental prints at Zara, Asos and Topshop (click to shop each item!).

Este año, pasé parte de Halloween en Dublín, la ciudad en la que todo empezó (y no en Estados Unidos como mucha gente cree). El sábado, fuimos a dar una vuelta y vimos disfraces muy muy chulos. Y el domingo, fuimos a un espectáculo en el Castillo de Dublín titulado "Imaginando a Bram Stoker". Organizaron otras muchas actividades por el Festival de Bram Stoker en Dublín. Ya os enseñaré las imágenes en el próximo post sobre mi viaje!

This year, I spent part of the Halloween festivity in Dublin, the city where everything began (and not in the United States as many people think). On Saturday, we went out for a while and we saw amazing costumes. And on Sunday, we went to a gorgeous spectacle at Dublin's Castle: Imagining Bram Stoker. They organized lots of interesting activities for the Bram Stoker Festival in Dublin. I'll show you all the pics in my next post about my trip!

#LondonBloggingDay: Jimmy Choo + Shopping in London

Me sumo a la estupenda iniciativa del London Blogging Day por Telva con un post dedicado a Londres, una ciudad a la que ya he ido tres veces.. y cada vez, una historia diferente. Pero, eso sí.. fiel a estas cinco tiendas (quienes también se han sumado al movimiento de los juegos olímpicos) y mercadillos!

I join the great initiative of the London Blogging Day by Telva with a post dedicated to London, a city where I've been for three times .. and each tim,e a different story! But always visiting these five stores (which also have joined the Olimpic Games' movement) and flea market!

-Topshop, archiconocidísima pero de visita obligada!

-New Look. Su tienda de Oxford Street me encanta. Siempre que entro, salgo con al menos una cosa. mi última adquisición en New Look ha sido una cartera que me tiene enamorada! 

I do love its store in Oxford Street. Every time I enter the store, I buy at least one thing. My last purchase has been a wallet really beautiful!

-Dorothy Perkins. Lo mejor son sus vestidos ladylike y sus bolsos. 

Its best products are the ladylike dresses and the bags.

-Portobello Market. Os recomiendo ir los sábados por la mañana, ya que es cuando están los puestos de vestidos, maquillaje y joyas vintage. No os perdáis las tiendas vintage que hay fuera del mercadillo. ¡Podréis encontrar cosas realmente espectaculares!

I recommend you going on Saturday morning, because that day is when you'll find clothes, makeup and vintage jewelry. Do not miss the vintage shops located out of the market. You can find such amazing things...!

-Camden Town. Súper divertido!

I've always wanted to show you the Union Jack collection designed by Jimmy Choo. We have it at my work :) What do you think about it?

Mis diseñadores londinenses preferidos son el dúo que está detrás de la firma PREEN, pero a ella ya le dedicaré un post entero :) Se lo merecen.

My favourite London designers are the couple behind PREEN, but for them, I'll write a whole post :) They deserve it.
