My honeymoon in Bali

2015 it's been an exciting year. The year when I said yes to the most special person I've ever meet, so I wanted to dedicate the last post to our wonderful Honeymoon in Bali. There will be three posts as we went to three different hotels. I already published a post shooted there, wearing my green swimsuit. The first hotel we stayed in was the Ayana Resort&Spa, a luxury resort located on 90 hectares of cliff-top land above the sea, with 11 swimming pools. I felt in love with the vegetation and the flowers!! We also had a private fairytale dinner, just like the movies... so keep reading! :)

2015 ha sido un año lleno de emociones. El año en el que di el "Sí, quiero" a la persona más especial que he conocido, así que quería despedir el año con un post de nuestra luna de miel en Bali. Habrá tres partes dado que fuimos a tres hoteles diferentes. Ya publiqué un post fotografiado allí cuando os mostré mi bañador verde. El primer hotel en el que estuvimos fue el Ayana Resort & Spa, un espectacular hotel con 90 hectáreas sobre el mar y 11 piscinas. Me enamoré de la vegetación y las flores (lo tenían todo muy cuidado y con unos colores impresionantes)!! Además tuvimos una cena privada frente al mar, como en las pelis... Suede 70s skirt

Suede fabric and 70s style are really trendy this Spring. My skirt, actually, it´s not 70s. It's 90s. I rescued this skirt from my wardrobe... the one I had when I was 14 years old!! and yep, it still fits me. Everything is back in fashion! I wore it with a nude sweater and my new suede sandals (thanks to my boyfriend!). Have you already got a 70s skirt? Do you prefer the suede or the denim ones?

El ante y el estilo de los años 70 son dos de las tendencias para esta primavera. Mi falda, en realidad, no es años 70. Es años 90... la rescaté de mi armario, de cuando tenía 14 años!! y sí, todavía me vale. ¡Todo vuelve en la moda! La llevé con un jersey nude y mis nuevas sandalias de ante (regalo de mi chico). ¿Ya tenéis vuestra falda setentera? ¿Os gustan más en ante o en tejido denim?

70s pants

As you know, 70s pants are a key trend for this Spring/Summer season -and the culotte pants as well. 70s has been a great inspiration for the designers and all the fashion bloggers are already wearing this trend. Here you have some ideas to wear this kind of trousers. I love how they look with striped tops or white shirts plus brown and gold accessories.

Como ya sabéis, los pantalones de campana (junto a los culotte pants) vuelven con fuerza esta temporada de primavera/verano. Los años 70 han sido fuente de inspiración para todos los grandes diseñadores, y las blogueras de moda ya están luciendo esta tendencia. Aquí tenéis varias propuestas para combinar vuestros pantalones de campana. Quedan genial con camisetas de rayas marineras o con tops lenceros en blanco más accesorios en marrón y dorado.

Denim shorts and DW watch

We are having quite warm days in Madrid (but not too much yet) so I used my Boohoo denim shorts for the first time (I do love the pattern and the light acid was distressed fabric!). I wore them with a summer jersey, a Daniel Wellington watch (my new favourite watch) and a neon touch in the Sammydress necklace. Have you already started to wear shorts?

En Madrid ya está empezando a hacer calorcito (aunque no mucho) así que aproveché para estrenar mi shorts denim de Bohoo (me encantan tanto la forma como el color claro y desgastado!). Los combiné con un jersey fino de verano, mi reloj de Daniel Wellington (mi nuevo reloj preferido) y un toque neón en el collar de Sammydress. ¿Ya habéis empezado a llevar shorts vosotras?

Hello Summer! Swimwear selection

New items have entered my wardrobe this week -and I do love them!: a limited edition orange crop top, a clutch bag with a tropical print that I found in this vintage store in Dublin, two pairs of candy coloured pants, a necklace with the Paris "skyline", an electric blue dress and a few more. Esta semana han llegado varias cosas nuevas a mi armario -y me tienen enamorada jeje!: un crop top naranja de edición limitada, un clutch bag con estampado tropical que encontré en esta tienda vintage de Dublín, dos pantalones en colores pastel, un collar con el "skyline" de París, un vestido azul eléctrico y alguna cosita más. Arnotts fashion event

A few days ago I attended a fashion event in Arnotts to see, touch and buy the new collections for Spring/Summer 2014, as well as the beautiful magazine they have launched for this season. Cocktails, ice cream and flowers everywhere to celebrate a summer full of beautiful colours and abstract prints. Among the exciting brands we can find M by Missoni, Pinko, Jill Stuart, Love Moschino and Tara Jarmon.

Hace unos días fui a un evento de moda en Arnotts para ver, tocar y comprar en primicia  las nuevas colecciones de primavera/verano 2014, además de ver la nueva revista que han lanzado para esta temporada. Cócteles, helado y flores por todas partes para celebrar un verano lleno de preciosos colores y estampados abstractos. Entre las firmas que pudimos ver se encontraban M by Missoni, Pinko, Jill Stuart, Love Moschino y Tara Jarmon.

Arnotts SS 2014 fashion show

As you saw in this post, Arnotts hold a press event for their Spring/Summer 2013-2014 collections. Here you have the fashion show, with various trends: total prints, black and white, colour blocks and 50's lady style. Above I am in the front row with the lovely Darryl Gibney (journalist and electric blue fan as I am haha) and, before that pic, a metallic clutch I would love to have!

Como ya os enseñé en este post, Arnotts organizó un evento de prensa para mostrarnos las colecciones de primavera/verano 2013-2014. Aquí tenéis el desfile de moda, dividido en varias tendencias: total prints, blanco y negro, colour blocks y estilo lady 50's. Arriba podéis verme en el front row con Darryl Gibney (periodista y del team azul eléctrico al igual que yo jeje) y, antes de esa imagen, un clutch metalizado que me encantaría tener!

Arnotts SS 2014

Arnotts invited me to its SS 2014 press event in a beautiful place in Dublin. The mannequins were wearing gorgeous wigs and surrounded by flowers in a lovely scenery; indeed, the best one I have ever seen in a press launch! We could see the new trends for SS 2014 and discover new brands such as Second Female and Clover Canyon, my two favourite designers for this season at Arnotts.

Arnotts me invitó al evento de prensa de las colecciones de primavera/verano 2014 en un sitio precioso de Dublín. Los maniquís llevaban pelucas geniales y estaban rodeados de flores en una puesta en escena espectacular; de hecho, la más bonita que he visto en un evento de prensa! Pudimos ver las nuevas tendencias para la primavera de 2014 y descubrir nuevas marcas tales como Second Female y Clover Canyon, mis dos diseñadores favoritos en Arnotts para esta temporada.

The City of Delights

I don't usually publish the brand's lookbook on my blog (I do that for Mujer Info), but this collection by U by Adolfo Dominguez has catched my eye. It looks like a Resort collection from a prêt-à-porter designer! Under the name The City of Delights, it gets inspiration from El Jardin de las Delicias painting by El Bosco, and bring us lots of beautiful designs for Spring Summer 2014. I wish I could have everything!!

Normalmente no publico los lookbook de las firmas en mi blog (lo dejo para mis artículos en Mujer Info), pero esta colección de U by Adolfo Dominguez me ha llamado mucho la atención. Parece una verdadera colección Resort de un diseñador de prêt-à-porter :) Bajo el título de The City of Delights, se inspira en el cuadro de El Jardín de las Delicias de El Bosco para traernos unos preciosos diseños para la primavera/verano de 2014. Lo quiero todoo!!

Beach time

Lately, we have a very good weather in Dublin, so on Sunday last week we went cycling to the beach and we ate there =) I wore a comfy look in pastel tones with shorts and my new backpack (so trendy this season! and perfect for this kind of occasions) to go in my vintage bike ❤

Últimamente está haciendo muy bueno en Dublín, así que el domingo de la semana pasada nos fuimos hasta la playa en bici y comimos allí :) Llevé un look cómodo en tonos pastel con shorts y mi nuevo backpack (muy de moda esta temporada, y perfecto para estas ocasiones) para ir en mi bici vintage ❤

Mint Shorts & CocoaBrown tan review

Last Sunday we got an incredible sunny day in Dublin. My boyfriend and I went to spend the day at Phoenix Park. I wore my new mint shorts and a cute printed shirt with birds and, as my legs were totally white, I tried the Cocoa Brown tan that we got at the Irish Bloggers Met Up. The result? an absolutely amazing brown skin for hours!! (and yes, brown and not orange!).

El domingo pasado tuvimos un día muy soleado en Dublín (una ola de calor, según dijeron jaja). Mi novio y yo pasamos el día en Phoenix Park. Aproveché para estrenar mis shorts color verde menta y una blusa con un precioso estampado de pájaros y, como mis piernas estaban totalmente blancas, probé el bronceador de Cocoa Brown que nos dieron en la quedada blogger irlandesa. ¿El resultado? Un espectacular bronceado que duró horas y horas!! (y si, con un color muy natural, no naranja!).

Olivia Palermo & the Maasai project

 

 

Some days ago, beautiful Olivia Palermo was in Madrid to present the new Pikolinos Spring Summer 2013 collection. She is the brand ambassador for the Maasai collection, full of ethnic prints, beaded sandals and embroidered bags. Olivia worn a black pleated mini skirt, a statement necklace and a gorgeous vest.

Hace unos días, la preciosa Olivia Palermo estuvo en Madrid para presentar la nueva colección de primavera/verano 2013 de Pikolinos. Es la embajadora de la colección Maasai, llena de estampados étnicos, sandalias con abalorios y bolsos bordados. Olivia llevó para la ocación un minifalda plisada color negro, un collar XXL y un chaleco espectacular.

Origami skirt

 

Estoy enamorada de esta falda/pantalón de Zara estilo origami. Creo que es uno de sus mejores diseños esta temporada de primavera 2013!! Ya se la habréis visto a otras blogueras como la famosa Rumi Neely, quien la ha sacado ya al menos tres veces diferentes en su blog, e incluso a la mismísima Karolina Kurkova :) ¿Qué os parece cómo la he combinado yo?

I do love this skirt/short by Zara in origami style. I think it's one of their best designs for this Spring 2013 season! Probably, you would have seen it already in other bloggers such as the well-known Rumi Neely, who has showed it at least three different times in her blog, and even being worn by Karolina Kurkova. What do you think about my combination? =)

Argot&Margot SS 2013

Hace unos días, asistí junto a un grupo de bloggers a la presentación de la colección primavera/verano 2013 de Argot&Margot. El lugar, una preciosa floristería muy acorde con la colección (Llorens&Duran): delicada, etérea, llena de matices (casi todas las prendas eran estampadas) y confeccionadas en tejidos livianos.

A few days ago, I went to the Argot&Margot presentation for its Spring/Summer 2013 collection with a group of bloggers. The place was an awesome florist very related with the garments (called Llorens&Duran): delicate, ethereal, full of nuances (almost all pieces were printed) and made of light fabrics.
