Summer Beauty Day

Last Thrusday I attended the Summer Beauty Day held by Mujer Hoy magazine in one of my favourite places in Madrid: Circulo de las Bellas Artes. We enjoyed a great atmosphere, high cosmetic brands and many that I didn´t know before (such as Babé Labs), beauty tips, Polaroid pics and cocktails. I wore my new white top from Zara, a printed clutch, white shoes and denim. Bracelet is Avenio´s.

El pasado jueves fue el Summer Beauty Day de la revista Mujer Hoy en uno de mis lugares preferidos de Madrid: el Círculo de Bellas Artes. Disfrutamos de buen ambiente, marcas cosméticas de prestigio y otras que yo personalmente descubría (como Laboratorios Babé), consejos de belleza, fotos Polaroid y cocktails. Llevé mi nuevo top blanco de Zara, un clutch estampado, zapatos blancos y tejido vaquero. La pulsera es de Avenio.

My Kiehl's experience

A few days ago I was invited to discover Kielh´s cosmetics. I have never tried this brand so I was really excited as I´ve heard lots of good compliments about it. The appointment was at Kiehl’s flagship store in  Wicklow Street (Dublin) and I was granted with a skincare consultation, a product of my choice and lots of samples to try all the skincare line. I have redness problem on my checks and after 2 weeks it has improved a lot thanks to the Skin Rescuer Daily Hidrator, so I have nothing but good compliments as well!! It has became my favourite mousturizer so far (combined with the Germaine de Capuccini serum). I totally recommend it if you have a stressfull life as I have, if you live in big cities with polution or if you have delicate skin and redness.

Hace unos días me invitaron a descubrir los cosméticos de Kiehl´s. Nunca había probado nada de esta marca y tenía muchísimas ganas ya que he oído muchos comentarios positivos sobre ella. La cita fue en la flagship store de Kiehl´s en Dublín, donde realicé una consulta del estado de mi piel, escogí un producto y además me llevé muchas muestras para probar toda su línea de cuidado de la piel. Tengo problema de rojeces en mis mejillas y tras dos semanas aplicando su crema Skin Rescuer Daily Hidrator han mejorado muchísimo!! así que yo también tengo comentarios muy positivos al respecto. De hecho, se ha convertido en mi crema favorita hasta el momento (combinada con el sérum de Germaine de Capuccini). Os la recomiendo totalmente si tenéis una vida muy ajetreada como yo, si vivís en ciudades grandes con contaminación o si tenéis piel delicada y rojeces.

SORTEO Bronceador Cocoa Brown

 

Como en España creo que no lo tenéis y a mí me ha parecido un bronceador espectacular, quiero sortear entre vosotras uno de los bronceadores de Cocoa Brown Day & Night que están muy de moda aquí en Dublín (para las que seáis tan blanquitas como yo o para las que queráis conservar el moreno este invierno!). Ya vistéis mi review sobre el bronceador y lo perfecto que queda, con un bronceado muy natural (nada de tonos naranjas!!) y uniforme. ¡Seguid leyendo para ver las condiciones del sorteo! :)

Germaine de Capuccini 'So Delicate' review

When I went to the Germaine de Capuccini spa, they suggested me to try their So Delicate cosmetic line, as I have redness in my cheeks and every facial moisturizer I've tried always irritate that part of my face. However, this combo of serum and moisturizer helps me to hydrate, soothe and relax my skin without aggravating my redness so, if you suffer the same problem than me, I totally recommend you to try it! =)

Cuando fui al spa de Germaine de Capuccini, me sugirieron que probase su línea de cosmética So Delicate, ya que tengo rojeces en las mejillas y todas las cremas faciales que he probado me irritaban siempre esa zona. Este conjunto de sérum y crema, sin embargo, me ha venido fenomenal: hidrata, suaviza y relaja mi piel sin empeorarme las rojeces así que, si tenéis el mismo problema que yo, os lo recomiendo totalmente! :)

Germaine de Capuccini Spa & Review

Two days before moving to Dublin, I had the pleasure of tried the amazing, relaxing and exclusive Germaine de Capuccini Spa in Madrid (only celebrities and press can enter there). The treatment included a facial massage and the Nuvola cabin, which imitates the feelings of a feto in a placenta. I've also tried their Oil Phytocare beauty line (continue reading for a complete review!).

Dos días antes de mudarme a Dublín, tuve el placer de probar el espectacular, relajante y exclusivo Spa de Germaine de Capuccini en Madrid (solo pueden entrar famosos y prensa). El tratamiento que me hicieron incluyó un masaje facial y la cabina Nuvola, la cual imita las sensaciones del feto en la placenta. Mint Shorts & CocoaBrown tan review

Last Sunday we got an incredible sunny day in Dublin. My boyfriend and I went to spend the day at Phoenix Park. I wore my new mint shorts and a cute printed shirt with birds and, as my legs were totally white, I tried the Cocoa Brown tan that we got at the Irish Bloggers Met Up. The result? an absolutely amazing brown skin for hours!! (and yes, brown and not orange!).

El domingo pasado tuvimos un día muy soleado en Dublín (una ola de calor, según dijeron jaja). Mi novio y yo pasamos el día en Phoenix Park. Aproveché para estrenar mis shorts color verde menta y una blusa con un precioso estampado de pájaros y, como mis piernas estaban totalmente blancas, probé el bronceador de Cocoa Brown que nos dieron en la quedada blogger irlandesa. ¿El resultado? Un espectacular bronceado que duró horas y horas!! (y si, con un color muy natural, no naranja!).

Esdor cosmetics

El pasado viernes asistí al maridaje de cosméticos Esdor y vinos Matarromera que tuvo lugar en El Corte Inglés de Valladolid. Allí pude probar su interesante línea de cosmética con polifenoles de uva tinta, un poderoso antioxidante (de hecho, una sola copa de vino tinto tiene el mismo efecto antioxidante que... ¡siete naranjas!).

On Friday, I attended the Esdor cosmetics and Matarromera wines pairing event, which took place in El Corte Inglés (a Spanish well-known mall). There I could try their interesting cosmetic products with grapes polyphenoles, a powerfull antioxidant (inded, just a glass of red wine has the same antioxidant effect than... seven oranges!).

Make Up at home

Ayer, la encantadora Esther del blog de maquillaje Esther y su Mundo vino a mi casa a maquillarme :) Era la primera vez que me maquillaba otra persona, y el resultado... espectacular!!! No podía parar de mirarme a los ojos en casa espejo que encontraba jaja. La sombra de ojos en tonos verdes me fascinó; siempre había querido ver mis ojos en estos tonos.

Yesterday, the charming make up blogger Esther from Esther and her World came to my house to have my make up done :) It was my first time and the result... beyond amazing!!! I couldn't stop looking at my eyes in every mirror I found! The eye shadow in green tones is absolutely gorgeous, I've always wanted to see my eyes in these colours.

Shorts, pulseras, flores, paragüas, tocados... y, por supuesto, la JOLIEBOX, uno de los patrocinadores del evento. Nos dieron una de sus cajas de belleza que, como sabréis, llegan a vuestra casa cada mes tras un servicio de subscripción para tener lo último en cosmética y maquillaje. Me encantaron el khöl resistente al agua, el rizador de pestañas ¡y el estampado de la cajita! :)

Shorts, bracelets, flowers, umbrellas, headdresses... and, of course, the JOLIEBOX, one of the sponsors. They gave us one of their beauty boxes which, as you may know, arrive to your house every month with the latest in cosmetics and make up. I loved the water-proof khöl, the eyelash curler and the print of the box! =)

Otro de los patrocinadores era Ron Santa Teresa. A la mitad de la mañana, hicimos una parada para tomar un ron con tónica, combinación que resultó estar muy buena.

Santa Teresa Rum was another of the sponsors. In the middle of the morning, we stopped for a while and tasted a ron tonic, which was really good.

A la diseñadora de HUNNA, Cecilia Rius, ya la conocía porque contacté con ella antes del Fitting. Me encantaron sus diseños y me puse en contacto con ella para incluirla en Decollage. ¡Sus collares tipo statement son absolutamente espectaculares! Sus creaciones son una simbiosis entre joyas y esculturas, moda y... auténtico arte.

I do love the designs by Cecilia Rius at HUNNA and so, I previously contacted this designer to invite her to enter the DeCollage community. Her statement necklaces are beyond amazing!! She designs pieces between jewels and sculptures, fashion and... authentic art.

PECADILLE

Pecadille es una firma de bisutería con diseños llenos de color, dirigidos a una mujer versátil y actual. Su segunda línea, Petit Dancer, tiene un estilo näif protagonizado por figuras en forma de animales.

Pecadille is a jewelry brand with colourful designs for a versatile and modern woman. Their second line, Petit Dancer, has a näif style featuring animal-shape figures.

LAMAURI

LaMauri son diseños exclusivos hechos a mano. Lo mejor, sus bolsos, tanto el grande (en color mostaza es ideal) como la cartera con flores realizadas en escamas de resina (la blanca es perfecta!!).

LaMauri make exclusive handmade designs. Their best are the bags, both the big one (in yellow colour it's gorgeous) and the clutch with flowers made of resin flakes (the white one is just perfect!!).

THERESA BENAVIDES

Theresa Benavides es una marca de bikinis diferente, con diseños muy originales (a destacar los de flecos y el triquini en color nude) y con un propósito: que no te encuentres a nadie en la playa con el mismo traje de baño. Su estilo es atrevido y sexy, con un tejido de calidad y mucha fama gracias a Eugenia Silva.

 

 

Theresa Benavides is a different swimwear brand, with original designs (I love the ones with fringes and the nude swinsuit) and with a purpose: don't finding anyone with your same swimwear in the beach. Her style is bold and sexy.

LUPE GIRALDO

Lupe Giraldo es una diseñadora colombiana con un estilo lleno de personalidad en el que todo el peso recae sobre un patronaje exquisito. Nos confesó que su prenda fetiche son los monos, aunque yo me quedo con los abrigos. Una auténtica pasada... ¡me los hubiera llevado todos de no ser por el precio! :)

Lupe Giraldo is a fashion designer with an amazing style in which the most important thing is the pattern: absolutely perfect. She told us that her favourite kind of clothing is the jumpsuit, but what I really love from her are the coats. Beyond amazing... I'd buy them all if the price was lower!

VILA CLOTHES

Nuestra última habitación fue la de Vila Clothes, marca que yo personalmente no conocía y que me encantó. Había prendas preciosas a precios low-cost, como por ejemplo unos shorts estampados preciosos que nos regalaron a cada una de las bloggers!

Out last room was Vila Clothes', a brand that I didn't know before and I found it very interesting. It has beautiful low-cost garments, for example the printed shorts that they give to all of us!
