Over the knee boots

It's been a lot since I posted a new outfit, so last week I asked a friend of mine to take a few pics for the blog. I was looking for a pair of over the knee boots since last year, and I found theses ones just perfect due to the square heel and the suede fabric! They look fab with dresses and tights in a different colour (such as dark grey). The Uterqüe bag finishes the look, matching the colour with the flowers in the dress.

Hacía mucho que no actualizaba el blog, así que aproveché el otro día a hacerme estas fotos con una amiga para mostraros un nuevo look. Tenía muchas ganas de tener unas botas altas por encima de la rodilla, y estas con tacón ancho en ante son perfectas! Quedan muy bien con vestidos y medias en un tono que contraste (por ejemplo, gris oscuro). El bolso de Uterqüe remata el look a juego con los tonos de las flores del vestido. 

The leather pinafore dress

Hi guys! How is it all going? I'm keeping busy at work... I wore this outfit a month ago, but I didn't have time to post it earlier (that's why I wasn't wearing tights, something impossible at the moment!). I bought this green leather pinafore dress at the very time I saw it on the Zara website. I love how it looks with a white shirt and lace sandals or cuban heel shoes. This FW15, pinafore dresses are a huge trend; how do you style them?

Hola!! ¿Qué tal todo? Yo muy ocupada con mi nuevo trabajo... Este look es de hace casi un mes, pero no he tenido tiempo de subirlo antes (de ahí que vaya sin medias... ahora ya imposible! jeje). Me compré este peto de cuero verde nada más lo vi en la web de Zara. Me encanta como queda con una blusa blanca debajo y sandalias de tiras o zapatos de tacón cuadrado. Ya sabéis que los petos son una de las tendencias para este otoño/invierno 2015. ¿Cómo lo combináis vosotras?

Back from Bali

Pink maxi dress

Some days ago I got this sweet maxi dress from Chi Chi London, a brand specialized in dresses for special occasions at great prices. The floral crochet lace detail at the front and the back is so cute.. can´t wait to wear it for a summer wedding!

White dress to say goodbay to Mr. Summer!

Summer is gone but we still have days in Spain when you can wear dresses with bare legs. I run into a Zara store when I saw a girl at my office wearing this amazing white dress, and I was lucky to find it. Mesh fabric is going to be a huge trend for Spring/Summer 2015, and both the squared shape and the design with the pockets look great. It looks lovely with accessories in brown, doesn´t it?

El verano ya se ha acabado, pero aún tenemos días en España en los que podemos lucir vestidos sin medias. Este vestido blanco se lo vi a una chica de mi oficina y fui inmediatamente corriendo a una tienda de Zara.. y tuve suerte de encontrarlo!! El tejido de rejilla va a ser una tendencia clave para la primavera/verano de 2015 y, además, tanto la forma cuadrada del vestido como el diseño con bolsillos me encanta. Queda genial con accesorios en marrón, ¿verdad?

Pineapples are for summer

It´s been a while since I wrote my last post 'cause work has been crazy lately.. sorry about that! Today I show you one of my favourite dresses of the season, with a cute shape and a funny pineapple print. I found it at the Zara sale. I´m totally in love with it!!

Hace bastante que no actualizaba el blog, pero he tenido mucha carga de trabajo últimamente... tenéis que perdonarme! :) Hoy os enseño uno de mis vestidos preferidos de la temporada, con una forma que sienta genial y un estampado de piñas que me encanta. Lo encontré por casualidad en las rebajas de Zara y me tiene enamorada!!

New York print dress

New York is one of the most amazing cities I´ve been to so far. I went there to visit the Alexander McQueen exhibition at the MET Museum and I felt in love with the city, its architecture, the scent of fashion everywhere and its friendly people. Bodycon dresses are perfect for a Saturday night out, and this one has such a lovely print -it reminds me of that city I love so much ;) I wore it with a green clutch, minimal heels and an anchor bracelet.

Nueva York es una de las ciudades más espectaculares en las que he estado a fecha de hoy. Fui para visitar la exposición de Alexander McQueen en el MET y me enamoré de la ciudad, su arquitectura, la moda que se respira en cada esquina y su gente. Los vestidos tipo bodycon son perfectos para salir el sábado por la noche, y este tiene un estampado precioso -y que me recuerda a esa ciudad que me encanta :) Lo llevé con un clutch verde menta, sandalias minimalistas y un brazalete con detalle de ancla.

Galway Races

As you have seen on my blog and my social networks, I´ve been styling a few fashion editorials for Galway Now magazine. Galway is one of the most beautiful areas in Ireland and they hold very well-known horse races (as important as Ascot´s), so it was an honour when they asked me to style the special races issue. I got amazing headpieces from the most important Irish milliners (such as Philip Treacy and the breath-taking creations by Martha Lynn), and dresses from brands such as Red Valentino and Marc by Marc Jacobs. 

Como ya habéis visto por el blog y mis redes sociales, he sido estilista en varios editoriales para la revista Galway Now. Galway es una de las regiones más bonitas de Irlanda y en la que se celebran unas carreras de caballos muy importantes (a la altura de las de Ascot), así que fue todo un honor que me encargasen hacer para ellos el editorial especial de las carreras. En él conté con los mejores diseñadores de tocados de Irlanda (incluyendo el gran Philip Treacy y las espectaculares creaciones de Martha Lynn) y vestidos de firmas tales como Red Valentino y Marc by Marc Jacobs. 

Coral maxi dress

My boyfriend gave me a surprise for my birthday: a weekend trip to Toledo, a beautiful city near Madrid. We went to a suite with jacuzzi in our room and even an ancient cesspool! As the city has stone pavement and lots of ups and downs, I chose a comfy outfit for our first day visiting the city: embellished flat sandals and a lovely coral maxi dress.

Mi chico me dio una sorpresa por mi cumpleaños: un viaje de fin de semana a Toledo. Fuimos a una suite con jacuzzi e incluso un pozo antiguo dentro de la habitación (Hotel Pintor el Greco). Como esta ciudad tiene suelos empedrados y muchas cuestas, elegí un look cómodo para visitar la ciudad el primer día: sandalias joya y un bonito vestido largo color coral.

Dress in crystal print

This longsleeve dress is the first thing I've got from FrontRowShop and I'm totally in love with both the fabric (high quality) and the print. I wore it a few days ago with booties for a nice brunch I had with my friends in Dublin. Delicate

The last day of the year I got an unexpected surprise when I entered Instagram: Jennifer, the gorgeous Spanish blogger from "Divina se Nace" was wearing for New Year's Eve the dress I made for her a while ago!!! It's one of my designs from the runway show I presented in Madrid, the most delicate and elaborated one. It'smade in an off-white chiffon with satin finishings and handmade flowers in a gorgeous crepè fabric in tangerine orange colour (each petal is handmade cut and then sewn together to create the flowers). El último día del año recibí una inesperada sorpresa cuando entré en Instagram: Jennifer, la conocida bloguera del blog Divina se Nace, llevó en Nochevieja el vestido que hice para ella hace un tiempo!! Es uno de los diseños que mostré en el desfile que hice en Madrid, el más delicado y elaborado de todos ellos. Está hecho en chiffon color crema con acabados en satén y flores hechas a mano en un tejido de crepè con un precioso color naranja mandarina (cada pétalo es cortado a mano y después cosido uno con otro para crear las flores). New Year's Eve outfit: Lace and sequins

2013 is coming to an end and now we have to say welcome to the year 2014. Today I show you the outfit I'm wearing tonight, a dress designed by myself with lace and sequins in champagne colour plus accesories in nude (you have already seen it here). We are having dinner in a very cool restaurant/pub in Dublin: 37 Dawson St (the very same in which I attended the Penneys runway show!). Tomorrow I'll do a special post about the most important things in my 2013... but today it's time to enjoy and don't stop laughing! Happy New Year!! :D

Al 2013 le queda ya muy poquito y ahora toca mirar hacia el 2014. Hoy os muestro el look que llevaré esta noche; un vestido de lentejuelas y encaje color champán diseñado por mí y complementos en nude (ya lo visteis aquí). Cenaremos en un restaurante/discoteca muy de moda en Dublín: el 37 Dawson Street (el mismo en el que fue el desfile de Primark!). Mañana ya haré un post especial con una recapitulación de mi 2013... pero hoy toca disfrutar y no parar de reír!! Que tengáis una muuuy buena entrada de año! :)

Christmas Eve sequin dress

This year I am going to spend the whole Christmas abroad, in Dublin... but my parents came in two days ago and my boyfriend and I will go out in New Year's Eve with some friends we have here. Of course, I miss all my family and friends... Anyway, I'm having Christmas in a different place and in a different way, which makes it even more exiciting! The outfit in the pictures is the one I chose for my Chritmas Eve dinner. Oh, and Happy Christmas to all of you, of course!! :)

Este año voy a pasar todas las Navidades fuera de casa, en Dublín... pero mis padres llegaron hace un par de días y en Nochevieja mi novio y yo saldremos con nos amigos que tenemos aquí. Por supuesto, voy a echar de menos al resto de mi familia y a mis amigos... pero así paso unas Navidades diferentes en un lugar distinto, que siempre lo hace incluso más emocionante! Navy blue and aqua green dress

This is the outfit I wore the second day at my trip to Avila (Spain) to La Posada del Agua hotel. It looks like a navy shirt and an ethnic printed skirt, but it is really a dress. I do love its colours, which I paired with baroque earrings, navy tights, a geometric bangle and my new shoes. Continue reading to see all the credits and more pics :)

Este es el look que lleve el segundo día de mi viaje a Ávila (España) al hotel La Posada del Agua. Parece una blusa azul marino y una falda de estampado étnico, pero en realidad es un vestido. Me encanta la mezcla de colores que tiene, los cuales combiné con unos pendientes de estilo barroco, medias azul marino, un brazalete geométrico y mis nuevos zapatos. A Wear Christmas 2013

A Wear is one of my favorite destinations in Dublin to shop party dresses. Today they have launched their Christmas collection with beautiful dresses in red, white and black (so trendy this season) but also cozy sweaters that will be perfect for the cold winter (the one we are going to have here!).

A Wear es una de mis tiendas preferidas de Dublín para comprar vestidos de fiesta. Hoy han lanzado la colección de Navidad llena de vestidos preciosos en rojo, blanco y negro (tan de moda esta temporada) pero también jerséis bien gorditos para el invierno más frío (el que me va a tocar pasar aquí, vamos jaja).

The lace dress

I was eager to wear my Oasap lace dress that you have already seen on my blog. It's AMAZING (it is now one of my fav dresses) but really, really short... so yesterday night I finally changed my tights for leggins. Pictures have been made at Concejo Hospederia hotel and restaurant, an amazing place in Valladolid.

Tenía muchísimas ganas de estrenar el vestido de encaje de Oasap que ya os enseñé por el blog. Es PRECIOSO (de hecho se ha convertido en uno de mis vestidos favoritos), pero muy, muy corto... Anoche salí de fiesta con él y finalmente opté por cambiar las medias por unos leggins. Las fotos me las hice en el hotel y restaurante Concejo Hospedería, un sitio muy bonito en Valladolid.
