How to wear a midi skirt - Outfit ideas

If you don´t know how to wear a midi skirt, here you have an outfit idea to help you out with this fab trend. A total nude outfit is always a great idea! If you are not very tall, choose a high waisted midi skirt and high heels. Nude color is also very elegant and trendy this season. Si no sabéis muy bien cómo llevar una falda midi, aquí tenéis una idea de outfit para llevar una falda midi sin sentiros disfrazadas. ¡Un look entero en color nude es siempre una buena idea!. Para las que no somos muy altas, elegir una falda midi de talle alto como la mía y tacones es una buena opción. El color nude es además tendencia esta temporada, y aporta un aspecto muy elegante. Cherry Blossom

Spring is one definitely my fav season of the year. The temperature starts rising up and the trees and flowers achieve their most beautiful moment. A few days ago we went for a walk and I wore this gorgeous flower printed dress by Irisie, an online store with lots of fabulous clothing. I matched it with a burgundy clutch similar to the flowers' dress and my stilletto heels.

La primavera es, definitivamente, mi época preferida del año. Las temperaturas empiezan a subir y los árboles y las flores alcanzan el momento más bonito del año. Hace unos días estrené mi vestido de estampado floral de Irisie; si aún no conocéis esta tienda online, entrad y veréis que tienen un montón de cosas bonitas!. Lo combiné con un bolso burdeos a juego con las flores y mis zapatos stilletto.

Embroidery denim skirt and maxi coat

I have been looking for a denim skirt with buttons for a long time ago, and finally I got this one with embroidery. Denim and embroidery are two of the key trends for this season. I wore it with a basic grey t-shirt, an XL earring and booties. The black trench with tassels is also from Irisie online store (if you don't know about it, enter to see all the beautiful stuff they have!).

Hacía mucho tiempo que estaba buscando una falda vaquera con botones y finalmente me decanté por esta falda con bordado lateral. El denim y los bordados son dos de las tendencias para esta temporada. La combiné con una camiseta básica en gris, pendiente XL y botines. El trench negro con flecos en la espalda es también de la tienda online Irisie (si no la conocéis, ¡echadla un vistazo!. Tienen un montón de cosas bonitas).

Ahora que la primavera está comenzando a traernos días más soleados, podemos sacar de nuestro armario nuestros looks con el color estrella de pies a cabeza. Delicate

The last day of the year I got an unexpected surprise when I entered Instagram: Jennifer, the gorgeous Spanish blogger from "Divina se Nace" was wearing for New Year's Eve the dress I made for her a while ago!!! It's one of my designs from the runway show I presented in Madrid, the most delicate and elaborated one. It'smade in an off-white chiffon with satin finishings and handmade flowers in a gorgeous crepè fabric in tangerine orange colour (each petal is handmade cut and then sewn together to create the flowers). El último día del año recibí una inesperada sorpresa cuando entré en Instagram: Jennifer, la conocida bloguera del blog Divina se Nace, llevó en Nochevieja el vestido que hice para ella hace un tiempo!! Es uno de los diseños que mostré en el desfile que hice en Madrid, el más delicado y elaborado de todos ellos. Está hecho en chiffon color crema con acabados en satén y flores hechas a mano en un tejido de crepè con un precioso color naranja mandarina (cada pétalo es cortado a mano y después cosido uno con otro para crear las flores). Romper and heels

I love blue and I love rompers, so this one I found at Oasap online store was just perfect for me! I wore it on my birthday party. Best match? simple high heeled black sandals, a nice clutch and accesories in silver, black an blue. I added a neon touch with the orange nail polish.

Me encanta el color azul y me encantan los monos, así que este que encontré en la tienda online de Oasap  llevaba mi nombre escrito :) Lo estrené en mi fiesta de cumpleaños. ¿La mejor combinación? Unas sandalias sencillas de tacón alto en negro, un clutch bonito y accesorios en plateado, negro y azul. Además, añadí un toque neón con el pintauñas naranja-coral.

Choies tropical dress

I could have chosen any other thing from Choies, but I fell in love with this dress. Yes, despite of the great amount of bloggers that have worn it (Lovely Pepa - My Peeptoes - La Petite Blonde - Marilyn's Closet - FashionHippyLoves - Petit & Sweet Couture - Rebuscando en el Armario) I was looking for a dress with a funny print in yellow tones, so I couldn't miss it. It looks beautiful, very tight in the waist and with a flouncing hem. But, it is very very short, so only suitable with leggins or very thick tights!! Now, you can buy it on sales =)

Podría haber elegido cualquier otra cosa de Choies, pero este vestido me enamoró. Sí, a pesar de habérselo visto ya a muchas bloggers (Lovely Pepa - My Peeptoes - La Petite Blonde - Marilyn's Closet - FashionHippyLoves - Petit & Sweet Couture - Rebuscando en el Armario), tenía muchas ganas de un vestido con un estampado divertido en tonos amarillos y no me resistí a pedirlo. Queda precioso, ajustado a la cintura y con dos volantes, muy veraniego. Eso sí, muy muy corto, así que solo apto para llevar con leggins o medias muy tupidas!! Ahora lo tenéis en rebajas :)

The cozy sweater & The vintage bike

Since I had in my hands this cute sweater by Burberyy Prorsum (when I was an intern at Vogue Spain), I have been looking for a sweater with an owl. This one by Chicnova is just perfect! It has a gorgeous and cozy fabric, a nice embroidered owl and an amazing bright blue colour. You can got it now on sales! (click here). I also wanted to show you my new bike (my parents' present); it's the cutest bike in the world, isn't it?! :) It's vintage, from 1974. And my new white nail polish!! at last I have got it!

Desde que tuve en mis manos este precioso jersey de Burberry Prorsum (cuando estuve de prácticas en Vogue España), he estado buscando un jersey con un búho. Este de Chicnova es simplemente perfecto! Tiene un tejido increíble, muy suave, con un bonito búho bordado y un tono de azul muy vivo. Y ahora puede ser vuestro en rebajas! (click aquí). También quería enseñaros mi bici nueva (regalo de mis padres); es la bici más bonita del mundo, verdad?! :) Es vintage, de 1974. Y mi nuevo pintauñas blanco!! por fin tengo uno!

Mint Shorts & CocoaBrown tan review

Last Sunday we got an incredible sunny day in Dublin. My boyfriend and I went to spend the day at Phoenix Park. I wore my new mint shorts and a cute printed shirt with birds and, as my legs were totally white, I tried the Cocoa Brown tan that we got at the Irish Bloggers Met Up. The result? an absolutely amazing brown skin for hours!! (and yes, brown and not orange!).

El domingo pasado tuvimos un día muy soleado en Dublín (una ola de calor, según dijeron jaja). Mi novio y yo pasamos el día en Phoenix Park. Aproveché para estrenar mis shorts color verde menta y una blusa con un precioso estampado de pájaros y, como mis piernas estaban totalmente blancas, probé el bronceador de Cocoa Brown que nos dieron en la quedada blogger irlandesa. ¿El resultado? Un espectacular bronceado que duró horas y horas!! (y si, con un color muy natural, no naranja!).

Stripes & Sita Murt

Hay dos outfits que todavía no os habia enseñado (y son de enero...!!): uno con la archi-conocida tendencia de las rayas en blanco y negro, y el otro con la chaqueta de Sita Murt que me regaló mi chico estas Navidades.

The handmade velvet skirt

El terciopelo ha sido una de las tendencias para este otoño/invierno de 2012-2013, aunque parece que en la calle no triunfó demasiado. Yo tenía ganas desde hacía mucho tiempo de tener una falda de terciopelo color burdeos, y mi madre me ha hecho esta a mano :) ¿Qué os parece?

Velvet fabric has been one of the trends for this Fall/Winter 2013-2013 season, although it didn't hit the streets. I was looking for a wine velvet skirt and my mum sweed it for me =) What do you think about it?
